Back in Sochi
« on: July 06, 2015, 11:53:32 AM »
Now adjusted to the pace of life, here and my YOTA 4G sim is brilliant - cost 5USD / MONTH for unlimited data

All my clients were shocked at the quality of the calls when dialling from the UK / Cyprus, etc.

Hopefully having an RU bank account and visa card will mean less issues paying for online services here.

In the afternoon SC went with her mate, Anya - to the beach and I went with the dog to watch the UK formula 1 GP in a bar with my minder.

We walked along the sea front - past the Hyatt, Pullman and many other top notch brands - to meet up with Luda - from Minsk and Marina from near Kherson, in UA, originally. SC wore her latest design - a short skirt with a short top and I was happy to take photos

I ordered wine and cheese and although the wine was passable, I was reminded that good blue cheese is a casualty of the counter sanctions (((

Ironically, western beers and wines are not sanctioned...go figure

As we chatted and danced, some young men arrived and took over the dance floor - they were so talented... I do not know if the video reflects this. The hat was passed around after and I willingly added to the night's takings

It is near peak season and Sochi is full of tourists . We saw a car with a Moldova registration  - they seem to get everywhere.

There are many good looking people - happy on holiday - but I am not the type to take pictures of people I don't know and post them on the internet..you'll just have to imagine

Please excuse the Curmudgeon in my posts ..he will be cured by being reunited with his loved one ;)

Nice photos, moby.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten
