So, I've noticed some amount of informal transport/deliveries made with services like BlaBlaCar. For example, a florist in Russia used a driver like that for a delivery, instead of an employee.
I don't know where people post to ask/search for help with that sort of thing. Anyone know where to start? I need someone to do a pick up and delivery.

Russia is a really, really big place. You should tell people which city you
need this to happen in.

Texas ranch owner was touring Israel and wanted to impress a small farmer with the extent of his land.
Texan: I can get into my car and drive all day, and still not reach the end of my property.
Israeli: I once had a car like that also.

Good point. Krasnoyarsk.

Maybe that will work.

Hi Treddie,
I've never heard of the the firm, but this is the link for Krasnoyarsk :

My ex-wife is from this city and I've been, but not for over ten years.
I thought Blablacar, just carried people.. Does it offer a 'courier' service, too ?
Do you have a contact in K'yarsk to help you ?
-
I doubt BlaBlaCar has any kind of official courier service. But I know people arrange to share rides and form car-pools. For the example I mentioned, the business found someone that was going to the destination town, gave them the item I bought for delivery and paid for the car.
I think I have a handle on it, now. We'll see how it works out.

Good luck
We've used Blablacar in RU, NL, FR,B, UK and IRL.. both as the driver and being driven .. helped out when a plane's land late on a Sunday evening, more than once

Thanks! :) Hmm.... good to know it's in those countries. It might come in handy. I've also used Gett with reasonable results.
