Back to Kiev...Woohoo!
« on: June 12, 2016, 08:13:06 AM »
 Hello All,
You on this board may remember me, I am the guy who did things his own way, but DID them. I wrote here last year about walking the streets of Ukraine with a "fastenall" hat on, and speaking English "loudly sometimes". I was scammed once by the cops, but met some really good people. I am on my way back over ( for only 13 days), though I will go back in a couple months.
I had a bunch of People tell me how crazy I was...
The only this I want to shout from the rooftops is GO!!! At the very least you will get a good vacation, with a lot of good experiences...cheaply!
On this trip, I am going over to Kiev to look into starting a biz, but am still pursuing ladies there. I am in no hurry, and I still want to travel around Ukraine more.
If I were to have one question to ask, it would be..."Why do the Ukraine people not get out of there own way?" They are a friendly, orderly society, why do the always make the political or personal decisions that are not good for them? Anyway, I will probably never get a good answer to that one, I could ask the same from the U.S. I am sure!
But just to beat a dead horse...GO!  These knewbies will have a lot of fun, the only scamming (besides I guess marriage agencies) is those who try to be overly helpful...oh, and the pigeon girls at Independence square!
Can anyone tell me about a Ukranian lanquage courge passed in print? Pimsleur audio I just not how I learn.
 Goodday all,
Dale

Good news Dale, the police force in Ukraine got an overhaul. The old guys are out and the new, Western trained, police are in. People I talked to a few months ago in Ukraine say they have faith in the new cops. You don't have to worry about the cops robbing you on your upcoming trip. What kind of business are you wanting to start? Aren't you worried that Russia is still destabilizing Ukraine and your investment will be wasted?
Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.

 Goodday all,
Dale

Hi Dale, just wondering how you got on with starting a business out there, its one of the things I might try in the longer run but would be helpful to know what you made of it. Been to Kiev it was great but no banana in terms of a long term relationship.
