Welcome to the forum Oso. How long you lived in Ukraine and/or how long you plan on staying?
Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.

I have lived here about a year and a half. I am gainfully unemployed and actually like it here. I have been hosting many of the English speakers that come over here, and try to help them enjoy Kyiv. I am not sure when I will return to the US at this time. I have a interest in the culture here and can offer some honest opinions and personal experiences. I get around quite a bit and have built a great network here.

Thanks Mike...
I was going out with a young expat (Chris) today, but it is smoking hot again. I thought I would walk to the lake to cool off. Then I got visions of all the bikinis there. So I am home in front of the a/c....I can't get into any trouble that way :)

I actually wanted to swing by the beach on the Dniepr just for the eye candy but wasn't able to. That's probably safer in the long run for me!  I heard it was going to hit +35- 38 this week. I'm glad that I'm back home for that.

Yeah, Mike,

On the Eastern Side of the Dnieper is what they used to call the Bali Club.  Across the inlet is a Nude Beach.  I never looked, though.
