The picture shows the EC flag, no Russia mentioned. The choice of food in the left basket is also not very typical for Russia, I mean the wine assortment. Therefore, the picture is not related to RW.

To my mind, the European woman may look like a French or a woman from some southern countries.

This photo is not about the food, its not about whether they are Russian, French or American. Its about the women & there panty line!.
If a man had only these two women in the whole world to chose from to marry & have a family, which one do you suppose he would chose? That is the humor in it.
Of course he would choose the slim one!! That is a given. At least most would IMHO. It is just to illistrate the choices we are faced with. It does not impune the womans dignity. Maybe the big woman has a great sense of humor & a lovely personality & no doubt some men would enjoy wedding & bedding her. Speaking for myself however, ain't no way I'm going there, I'll take the slim one.
Also the fact that they are both wearing & showing off there slimline panties, you gotta admit they look much sexier on the slim lady.
You are trying to analyze where anylizing only clouds the issue. In a picture such as this it is to be taken at face value. Also you need to look at it from a mans point of veiw not a womans. He!! I didn't even see the food until you mentioned it, LOL.

Simple answer is "No."  No one would ever do that here.  In fact, ,my wife, Lena, had to tone down her directness once she arrived here.  We Americans may "think it" but not say it.  I have witnessed my MIL asking someone "why are you so fat?" on one of her many visits here.  We would never ask such a direct (and hurtful) question.

Concerning the photo I agree with what other men have said that the photo is not to be overly analyzed and is just symbolic of a fundamental realilty afflicting the West, especially America, and yes a good reason for AM to look East. The purpose of me posting it was to balance out Gator's photo that offended some RW - I was showing that we on the West Side can poke fun at our women just as much as poking fun at East Side women and thereby maybe take a little of the sting out of the offense taken by some of the RW over Gator's photo (I agree it was poor taste and should not have specifically referenced Elen and Kvinna - Elen's hurt feelings were understandable). I also must say that I was engaging in some mischievous fun

I just saw Daveman as extending an olive branch to Elen where her feeelings were hurt, I did not see it as a capitulation to an ADRW agenda, although I agree with Ken's insights about not allowing ADSovietBabushka agenda to affect this Board's purpose and dynamics.

WildOrchid, yes the obesity epidemic also afflicts men, although not anywhere near as much as it afflicts women. It is a national disgrace. Instead of invading Iraq and urinating $400 billion down the hole the American government should have used the money to "force" obese people to have liposuction and stomach reduction surgery

That's a lot of BS.  The "Moles" were just looking for an excuse to kick up a stink.  This forum is about international relationships and like it or not those involved on BOTH sides have to be able to "Cut it" in this caper or forget it.  If they are so against the international marriage thing as they try to appear, then let them p!ss off some place else.  They ain't got what it takes and I for one certainly won't miss their input.
