Yes-is the short answer-- and so would most "western" countries as well as Asian.
It would solve the Ukrainian problem-- the full force of the west turned on Russia would finish Russia very fast.
Stupid as Putin is-- his game of brinkmanship bluff will not seeing him being that dumb--but the risk of mistakes is getting high now.
Much of the military machine is antiquated and lacking maintainence-- as pointed out previously the Italian navy would clean up the Russian Black Sea fleet--let alone some of the more sophisticated equipment in use by the US and allies.
In saying all that--it is not to say a great deal of damage would be done in the process to western countries-- and that is Putin's ultimate bluff.
My view-- Putin is defiantly crazy enough to do something history would show as really stupid-- the western countries need to overreact now and put what is necessary in place to react immediately.
This needs to be treated as the crisis it is-sitting on one's hands is not an option

Unconfirmed-- what a nonsense word being used.
In the last few days I have seen BBC & CNN world news  -taking specific note of matters Ukraine.
How far can these organisations bend over for Kremlin propaganda --persisting in calling them
"separatists" backed by Russia-- and even pulling back on that at times.
The footage being shown is of actual Russian tanks in Ukraine-what do these "news" editors need to get it remotely close-- a press release from the Kremlin to announce they have invaded  Ukraine?
There is NO doubt that the liars from Russia invaded --so why be pulling on this like some of the forum fools?

Anyone know anyone in those organisations.Access can be arranged for them to see the action for themselves--they can follow thru some of the serial numbers of Russian equipment.
