Title: Is Kim Jong Un dead or not ?
Post by: ML on April 25, 2020, 03:33:24 PM
If yes:

1) Who will take over ?

2) What will it mean for world peace or at least relationships with USA ?

#KimJongUndead

1) His oldest son is 10 yo and his sister played an important role but both may not be able to run the nation with an iron fist. If none of his family is strong enough to take over, they all may be executed.

2) There are plenty of party elites that think their nuke program gets them attention and make their nation look like equals to America. I doubt the next leader will give it up unless they truly believe trying to build a nation as successful as South Korea is the best path forward. The new leader must allow the people and business to be free but running the country with an iron fist won't accomplish that. Something has to give. If a new leader is to change course, first he/she must make sure they have total control over the party so nobody disagrees.

senior party sources in Beijing, said an operation to insert a stent went wrong because the surgeon’s hands were shaking so badly. It's hard for a surgeon to work with guns pointed at his head.

OTOH---She could probably be more strict than he ever was.

North Korean (http://www.foxnews.com/category/world/conflicts/north-korea) state media has claimed that the country's dictator, Kim Jong Un (http://www.foxnews.com/category/person/kim-jong-un), made his first public appearance in 20 days amid a flurry of speculation about his health.
South Korea-based Yonhap (http://en.yna.co.kr/view/AEN20200502000500325?section=nk/nk) News Agency, citing state-run media, reported that Kim attended a ceremony marking the completion of a fertilizer plant in Sunchon, in the South Phyongan Province Saturday.

Why a fertilizer plant [if it indeed produces fertilizer]?

Maybe he was on retreat with his army of young chicks----

Reminds me of Brezhnev and how he ruled Russia for months when he was dead.

State controlled media says Kim Jong Un made a public appearance yet State controlled media can't supply one video or photo of the appearance.

The State run media found some photos but the two murals behind Kim Jong Un are clearly different. They need to execute their photoshop workers.

Do you think it's Weekend at Bernies over there?

Commies have always thought of the USA as their Antichrist, also don't
forget about China. They have a real interest in whoever rules there
next and whoever that is better keep the USA at arms length or
they will come down and straighten things out.

There is a near zero chance that somebody invites the USA in and they
decide to go with a Democracy and join up with their brothers in South
Korea and give capitalism a go. China would intervene.
