Big Bill, we were at Garden of Gods a couple of years back.

A very nice place to visit with some unique formations.

I was surprised to read there was a nearby zoo with the name Cheyenne attached.  I thought there was some law that Cheyenne could only be associated with Wyoming.

There was a law but nobody told the Cheyenne Indians so they licensed their name
all over the place. Since it was their name to begin with the law was deemed invalid.

We are celebrating our third anniversary this weekend.
Seriously, I had been telling everyone it was our fourth
but I was wrong (Angel Eyes pointed it out to me). 

The third is the "leather anniversary" I don't think it will
be too difficult getting Angel Eyes to dress up

Driving in the Mountains

I bet this is I-70W. The most scenic drive I had been on.

I will be doing that drive again next weekend. Hoping for no unexpected snow as I drive higher into the mountains.

We could be practically neighbors but I thought you live in ND.....

I drive up to Glenwood Springs every week on Monday or Tuesday and
back to Cheyenne every Friday. The price of oil took a dump so I moved
out of North Dekody

Angel Eyes has a friend flying back to her city in Russia
on the 24th. I figured it would be a big help having a
friend with her when she flew back to see Mamma.
I tried to buy tickets for Angel Eyes and Mini me on
Aeroflot on Sunday.

They didn't accept my card so I called Bank of America
and was informed that they were closed. So, I called
Monday and they told me as a special favor for such
a beloved customer as myself that they declined the
payment.

I explained that I wanted to pay Aeroflot and they told
me that my card was now perfect and that there would
be no problems. Of course Angel Eyes wants to call
Aeroflot and talk 117 mph in Russian to somebody
which she has done several times.

Hopefully she isn't on several no fly lists now.

I've called B of A AND Aeroflot 4 times each and both
say that the other is at fault. This has only taken 3
hours and 23 minutes out of my day today, and now
my patience is strained.

Question for you.....I made it through about 40% of your epic trip report (or at least one of them, I think you might actually have multiple trip reports??) but just have not had the chance to finish it. Hopefully, some day soon I will be able to finish it, bit it is seriously long!! That is the Mother of all trip reports!! Economy of words is not a strength of yours Bill.   

Anyways, did you ever talk about your wedding to Angel Eyes? Give any details about the wedding here on RWD, such as where it was held (US, Russia?), small/medium/large - size wedding, environment (Church, outside, Dallas Cowboys Stadium? (Myself, I will be getting married on the 50 yard-line of Cowboys' Stadium. Emmitt Smith will be my Best Man and one of the Cowgirl Cheerleaders will be the Little Ring Girl. Sandro will be the Little Ring Boy, he'll look so adorable.). Any pictures of your Marriage to Angel Eyes?

I used my bank ATM card rather than a credit card. I ended up going through
Kayak.com to buy the same tickets and it went through.

I put Angel Eyes and Mini me on a red eye flight to JFK (11:58pm)
where they will spend a day with her friend in NYC then fly out the
next day to Moscow.

She has a flaky friend named FM for Flaky Masha (not her real name) 
who is also from Voronezh and who is visiting a potential boy friend in
Miami then flying back to Russia. So I bought the tickets so that Angel
Eyes would have some help navigating the airport with a 2 year old, a
stroller, and suitcases.

FM is a slim moderately attractive Russian woman (40 years old) with
an occasional infatuation with Hindu. She is a strict vegetarian except
when she is eating tasty fish or shrimp or something else.

So FM ends up dating mostly Indian guys since that's where you will
find the most Hindu's although she doesn't like many of them all that
much as the ones that she usually meets are usually cheaper than a
starving Scotsman with only one coin in his pocket and some aren't
the most romantic bunch either.

Flaky Masha's potential boyfriend decides that he doesn't want her
to leave quite so soon so he changes her tickets and Angel Eyes
doesn't find out about this early this morning.

Mini Me is well into his terrible two's and it was reported to me that
he was a terror on the flight for Angel Eyes, the passengers and the
airline staff. He did manage to get off the plane without getting put
on the TSA no fly list.   

Angel Eyes drug (dragged?) Mini Me to the baggage carousel and
collected her bag, but not her stroller.

Only two hours later of waiting in the airport they announce that they found
her stroller and away she goes to the taxi stand. Angel Eyes deftly negotiates
a $70 fee for her ride to her friends house and away they go. At the end of the
trip the cabbie suggested a $35 tip but was shut down like the steel door in
Lubyanka.

I don't know how closely people have been following my thread, but way
back when I was romancing Angel Eyes, I acquired the services of a guy
named Yuri (not his real name) and his mistress Penny (not her real name
either) and they picked me up at the airport in Moscow and brought me back
to Voronezh only rarely getting all four wheels off the ground.

Apparently Penny is no longer his mistress and he is still game to make the
round trip to pick up Angel Eyes and Mini Me for 7000 rubles ($119.75). It's 
too low as it barely pays for his gas, so I told him 8000 rubles (136.86)
which isn't much more but I know at least will pay for the gas both ways.

I have a turkey in the oven, potatoes on the stove and a chocolate cream
pie to check on.

Hi Beel,  went past Voronezh c. midnight on Wednesday night - on the train -  was disappointed not to be woken up by Mini-me and Angel-Eyes knocking on my window

If he gets too much - tell Angel-Eyes to threaten to pop him on the overnight train to Sochi and live with us..
