Hot topic - do women dress up to attract men or for themselves ?
« on: September 25, 2017, 11:12:08 PM »
I've started this thread as it seems to be a really hot subject !

Do women - particularly FSUW - dress up to attract men ?

This is one outlook from a respected member : ( you can pay me later, ML )

And FSUW are more honest about this than WW.

WW deny they  are dressing for men and even angrily proclaim that they dress only for themselves.  And, of course, they bring lawsuits if men compliment them on their looks.

My wife and other FSUW have openly told me:  All we do (in terms of looks) is for men.

Each time before we go out, wife asks to make sure I am OK with how she looks.

My experience - is that women dress up when going out with other ladies - when in a monogamous relationship - so how can they be trying to attract men ? )  Married FSUW dress up to go to the shops - isn't that what we men appreciate ?

Is ML correct ? Are you ladies dressing up to remind your partners what they'd be missing ? ;D

In case it isn't clear- I though women dressed up to please themselves and seek a men's opinion for affirmation ?!

I'd say I dress both for women and men. It feels beautiful, and it is projected from inside the woman onto the outer world  8)

I wonder if there is a man here that dress for both women and men?

When in a relationship - I take an extra bit of care to ensure all is smart ?  When I'm away from SC - I don't dress down...  I just like to feel good in myself ..

My Granddad, on Mum's side was known as the "wee maun who was always dapper" - folks respected that

Not me; I am pretty careless in general.
Spouse sometimes has to tell me to change into something different when we are going out.  I do whatever she wants.
But when she is gone to University, and I go out to store or whatever . . . oh man . . . I am sometimes offered dollar bills to help me buy some food !!!
And sometimes when I get into one of my 'good' cars . . . the police are called to investigate a possible theft.

Last week, I saw you out shopping ML and came close to stopping and saying hello to you. I was so hot and bothered by what you were wearing you dirty boy, I was going to stick some $1 Bills in those tight jeans you were wearing. You were wearing a thong underneath your jeans, right? Pink, Purple?

Not tight jeans; pretty loose for comfort actually.
No thongs for me; again not comfortable.
And avoid women who wear thongs.

Wonderful topic :). Thanks.

If woman loves herself and if she is self-sufficient, she always dressed nice for herself first.

It does not mean, that opinion of loved man is not important. She can ask his advice. In good relations people discuss everything together.

If woman is unsure of herself, she wants, somebody all time saies about her beauty and she needs advise all time.

Absolutly agree ;)
The answer is BOTH)))
Sure for men around her! every woman likes to realise that she is attractive. Its a pleasure and power to feel how man is   watching on you with admiration.
Sure for yourself! Woman who loves herself always dressed nice for herself firstly. Even if she with female friends. Even if she is married. Even if she is at home, alone and nobody can see her. Cause of she enjoys her beauty.

Perhaps the scientific basis for this advice  should be a new topic ...!

My wife equally enjoys both the bug-eyed admiration of men and the hateful sneers of women.

Women tend to look at other women, we've all seen it.. In Russia it's even more obvious, I was with Natasha and her 17 year old daughter, both are very attractive, dress well and wear make-up, and they both attracted a lot of stares from other women of the same age group... Their simply getting ideas on how to improve their appearance, hair color, clothing, shoes.. When they dress up, I don't think their trying to attract one sex, they do it because they want to look their best in public.

Of course there are those who do want to attract men, the ones who dress like prostitutes.

Not sure if it is true, maybe Marina can advise, but a friend in Siberia told me hookers only wear heels, so if a girl is wearing flats you know she's not a "working girl".

But don't mistake for the opposite! Plenty of women love to wear heels and look good simply for themselves.

Not a good screening tool.
She is just on her day off.

Not sure about Siberia, but in southern cities where are wonderful sidewalks, women wear heels most of the time. And they are not 'at work', they just like wearing heels and feel themselves more feminine. ;D
Frankly about Russian women from its Southern part, our unique hospitality and passion to life.

Just noted this...  Having been to Novosibirisk and Krasnoyarsk ...in winter..I can assure you that high boots are worn in snow and my ex-wife was not a prostitute....!

I can only guess a Moscowvite wrote that))
