Dropping her like a hot turd would have been better than trying to open more dialogue. She's going to continue to beat you down and give you a guilt trip. If you and others drop her like a hot turd, she will quickly understand she's not a desirable person to be around with and adjust her attitude faster than if you try to educate her. .

Well the funny thing is, as much as I started out trying to doing it differently, I ended up just cutting things abruptly anyway. I didn't really have a choice, so much for dialogue.

Ed, change the way you deal with people. The lady lied to you and has bad manners. You need to cut off people like that faster. You've known that lady over a month. There's no reason to lose that much time to figure somebody out. Do you write one woman at a time? Write many women and eliminate the ones that have character problems or ones not very interested in you. If the batch of women you write doesn't pan out, write more. Don't feel guilty thinking you'll be accused of being a playboy. You don't have a commitment with anyone and eventually you're going to settle down with one. It's your life. Find the best fit for you.

Your gal said her family and friends told her to look for a man 15-20 years older insinuating you're immature and full of drama. There may be truth to that. If so, fix it. Earlier you thought something wasn't right and did some investigating on her. It may have affected your behavior when talking to her. It's okay to Google someone's name and see if their clean or dirty but if you can't find any dirt, trust the person until they give you reason not to trust them.

You're young and you have little competition in your age group. Make the most of it. Most men on this forum didn't get it right the first time around and that's why we're here. It's all worth it if you find the right woman.
Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.

Things have progressed since the original post. If you're getting anything other than the truth on Day 1, that's a red flag. It doesn't matter what their reasoning is behind the deception, it's a lie. And if they're willing to lie about something as minor as her age, imagine what else she will lie about.  Don't let anyone guilt you into feeling bad that you question them or their actions.  That is Manipulation 101 right there my friend. I have a very simple rule, when I want to know something, I ask.  Good luck in your search of finding a woman that is upfront and honest.
