Thanks Jack.  Don't know about the 'fine and educational', but I appreciate the sentiment.

Can I play here too?

I used to be a member here, but my username does not work... Did I get banned as a pre-emptive strike?

Welcome Andrew!

Don't think anything pre or post happens here:D

I think Dan started this 'fresh' so maybe users of the old version had to reregister.

Hello, Andrewfi,

Nice to see another old familiar name here.  I look forward to some in depth discussions on this format that were not possible on the "other" board.

Howdy all! I won't waste a bunch of time introducing myself as it looks like everyone who's posted so far knows who I am and where I've been :P. I will say that it's fantastic to see some long lost net-friends (Leslie, it's been at least two years since we spoke on the phone, and I hope they've been good to you) and some short lost friends (glad we haven't lost touch JB).

For anyone who's nervous about my other associations, don't be. What goes on there, stays there and what goes on here, stays here, period. In the spirit of full disclosure: I am a moderator at two other message boards which deal with the same topic as this one does(visa & immigration sections). I hope nobody's got a problem with that..................

Hey Jack, yes we did exchange a few e-mails a LONG time ago after I put my foot squarely in my mouth by jumping into to something I should not have (having no direct experience with the subject matter, on which to base any comment). If it's any consolation, our chat has kept me from repeating that error, so I hope it's all water under the bridge ;)

Ohh, and "that doll " would be my lovely wife Liliya

Hello guys, some of you know me from other boards - RMP and RWG, though I post very little on RWG. I live in Moscow and part time with my western man in his country. I have a magazine for women and I hope to find here many advices and answers to the questions of our readers. And, of course, I am ready to answer your questions about us, russian women, our expectations, wishes and feelings and about life in Russia in general.

My apologies.  I never introduced myself to the list.  I've been married 5 years to a Ukrainian lady from Kharkov and have a 2.5 year old son.  I'm 50 and she is 37.  I'm still active in other two lists and was invited by Dan to join this group.  Thank you Dan, I'm honored.  I'll try to offer some advice to those contemplating this journey, if they want to hear it.  I would never tell anyone that what they are doing is stupid nor impossible.  Nothing in this venue is stupid nor impossible.  My POV is just that an opinion, not a dogma.  There are many different ways to do this.  If not sure ask, you will get many dissenting opinions, it is up to the reader to take the best advice and improvise.

Good Luck to the new ones and my condolences to the ones already there.:P

I think alot of us gave "greeting" type of information on this thread as well.

Hi Everyone,

Been out of the scene for a couple of years but back into it again (should have listened to Jack back then, lol).  See a lot of folks from the old PL site are here.  Anyway a couple years older and somewhat the wiser so hope I can offer something to this forum.
