Much has been discussed regarding preferred locations to search for a suitable partner in Russia and the FSU generally. Big city, Small Village, Chicken Sheds? You choose, it's ultimately your call. For the purpose of statistics which have been thrown around here quite a deal recently, perhaps a "Stats" thread might be interesting..........maybe. To kick it off, I have chosen population by city in Russia as a method of demonstrating where the "numbers" might be. If anyone wants to add stats of other countries or break it down into gender division or other relevant stats which might be useful to the searcher, please feel free. Bare in mind, the numbers below are likely to represent "Registered" population and the actual number of residents maybe a deal higher.

Tashkent has about 2.1-2.4 million people but "numbers" should factor in to where the easiest  place to find a single RW.

A guy is limited by his own ability to communicate with women so he will not reap the benefit of numbers in Moscow because he can't communicate with every lady there.

If a guy walks the street of Moscow and has the ability to socialize with 20 ladies a day, he will still be able to do that in the city Arkhangelsk ranked 50th too.

If Arkhangelsk has a higher ratio of women to men and/or if there is a higher percentage of single women to married there over Moscow, then it's conceivable that there's a better chance to find more single woman when you meet 20 a day in Arkhangelsk than Moscow which will give you a better chance to find what you're looking for unless one includes married women to.

I would also say that many men target easy to get to cities such as Moscow and has flooded the market of marriageable Western men there. If I'm not mistaken, there could be more men going to Ukraine just because it's easier to go there. Too many men fishing in the same pond makes for poor fishing.

Only 15 out of 20 single ladies in Moscow will likely have come from various Arkhangelsk's and Tomsk's to study and/or pursue a career, whereas most of those 20 ladies in Archangelsk will be local, with limited English, family-minded, and with a few kids from previous marriages.

That might be true, but looking back over 42 years of living, dating, etc. in a wide variety of locations from London and Copenhagen to remote villages, the most interesting and fulfilling relationships tended to be in semi-rural environments centred on a large town.

In a week, I marry a lady from a village 30 miles from Pyatigorsk in North Caucasus.  It was obviously pre-ordained.

I dated on gal who had moved from Arkhangelsk to Moscow.  Her comment FWIW was that there are almost no men there.  That her friends there could not even find a man to have a date with while she had recieved over 20 serious proposals of marriage.   I will add that she was a bit heavy and not all that pretty.   She did have the Moscow attitude that we see sometimes so it is not just gals who were born there.
