Gato,

I did not pick up in prior messages that your deaf. My bad, perhaps.

But I know in the Ukraine region there is a LARGE population of deaf, they mostly sign.

My suggestion stop playing the silent martyr and get out and about.

No one will bite you; unless you ask

Even I had written to Ukrainian Deaf Association in Kiev, but still haven't had a reply.  I wrote in English with google translator Russian as well.    Even once I wrote to Colombian Deaf Association in Bogota about deaf charity and got a reply 2 years later!!!!!!!!!!

Gato--maybe you need to be a little cooler in your approach to all this. You have a very specific different issue to deal with-- but maybe you can turn that to your advantage ?
All the other advice handed out on forums still applies-but you can help yourself a lot more with a positive attitude-- that is a must to anyone in this deal.
I commented above( & others) who have been exposed to deaf people in Ukraine-- and I particularly noted  girls amongst them-so I now they are there.

I am not suggesting you should confine your quest to only the deaf-- but it has to help if they already understand the issues.
A piece of advice I have given quite a few people is appropriate-- try and narrow the search area--eg one city.

Then concentrate on specific areas that you can both research and learn about in that area.
once you develop a few contacts there--it can develop a more targeted search.

My personal strategy has always been to develop contacts and friendships -just as you would do in your own locale.

Knowing more is the key to not being misled- and when you do visit--it is not an all or nothing pressure situation.

Additionally--use the forum as a resource- information that can help you can come from members here-- but no one wants to refer an uptight nut case! Seriously-- I am going to get a few people to make some enquiries  that may give you a few leads and maybe a few ideas.Let us see.

BTW--there are many examples on the forum where solid assistance has and is being given by members to other trusted members- so please think about that.

I can remember the ok guy CDW quite well--over 1000 posts here-so you are no newbie here so you will know there is no point in isolating yourself .

I did have Brad Pitt pic on my atavar before putting the late Phillip Joel Hguhes, the Australian cricketer.

Had a conversation with an Ukrainian woman..........  she said she doesn't work at the moment, because she has to take care of her mother.

I, politely, slowly end the conversation in 20 minutes (longest to end it).

If a girl has to take care of his mother / grandmother, then she isn't for me.....  I AM THINKING OF MYSELF THIS TIME....

I still haven't been to Ukraine for 7 years!!   Since the last 7 years, I visited Colombia 8 times and 1 time to Argentina (this one nothing to do with ladies).

I have made corresponded with one Ukranian woman from Zarophroye.  She's 29 years old with a 3 years old son.  She said she really want to meet me in Kiev and love my blue eyes (lol), but I do not want to repeat similar situation with the last lady.  I did not mention it to her.  'Met' her online 2 weeks before Christmas - one week after the cancelled Kiev trip.  I saw her having 2 profiles in VK and also in Facebook which she did not know about.  I also told her that I am prepared to travel to meet her in Zarophroye but she wanted to visit Kiev again. :)

Anyway, I send her friend request in Facebook which she accepted.  But, within 2 days she deleted (not blocked).  Few days later she made a posting on her wall that she is feeling in love with an Australian guy, and within a week later she put 'In a relationship' with him.

Aparently, in her wall in VK just before she wrote 'feeling in love'  (not Facebook) she has a new iPhone 6, and wrote that she is happy to receive her early Valentine gift, so apparently this Australian guy paid for it!  Apparently she was cheating behind his back !!!

In short, if she doesn't want to have me in her facebook, then she won't be serious in meeting me in Kiev!!!

I do not know if I do feel sorry for this Australian guy, or he is a loser for sending her expensive iPhone!

Most likely going to South America next but not during summer time though.

End of March / beginning of April, maybe to Argentina again.

lol

Not much things to do in Brazil that isn't anything to do with women compare to Argentina.

Argentina offers me many things,

1)  Art & Architecture in Buenos Aires - the Paris of the South
2)  Playing Polo
3)  Riding horses - guacho
4)  Beautiful landscape in the south -Patagonia
5)  End of The World visit
6)  Mendoza wine
7)  Boat trip to Uruguay
8)  Igazu Falls  (Brazil also)
9)  sealife in the south - penguins, whale watching, etc
10) Getting ready for a trip to Antarctica

The list is endless.....

Yes correct.  The 'Iguazu' was a typo missing the extra 'u', but I wasn't sure how to spell 'Gaucho' though !!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!  As a matter of fact it was my 1st thought  but realised I did not mention it in the posting.  I knew I thought something was missing!

I had thought of joining local tango classes a month ago, but have been put off due to busy with work lately.  I asked if deaf people can learn how to tango.  They told me that they had deaf students in the past without any problems.

I'll give a class or two to try out.

TANGO is the biggest in Buenos Aires, but not as big as in other cities though.   Watching tango show with dinner  was a night to remember.

Not only Tango I missed out mentioning but also eat beef and drink wine.   Eating beef out there - wow fantastic taste!!!
