Ukraine opens New Honorary Consulate in Seattle

FYI This may be a time saver for the members on the west coast that needs the Ukrainian Embassy's assistance.

 Passport renewal possibly?

Don't know about the USA, Mike, but Honorary Consuls are unlikely to be able to do passport renewals.  Ukraine does not have an Embassy or Consulate in New Zealand - only an Honorary Consul.  He can NOT do anything about passports or visas, as I found when I wanted to travel to Ukraine (and asked about the potential Mrs AK wanting to renew her Ukrainian passport).

The Honorary Consulate Facebook page says in the description "Honorary Consulate of Ukraine works together with partners across North West of USA to help American & Ukrainian businesses to find new opportunities. Also, Honorary Consulate of Ukraine puts its efforts into development of strong social ties between Ukraine and USA."

Nothing about passports but there could be some Smokinhotkovas working in there. Might want to pay them a visit.
