Borisov is accused of stealing 188 million hryvna, which was for the military.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

Great that they're pulling up those people and taking action. Terrible that they fiddle while Rome burns as the saying goes. I kind of expected that that sort of stuff would go on but still kind of shocking that they are willing to leave their fellow Ukrainians high and dry and be such dirty low lives to take such resources from the war effort for their own self interest and greed. Ukraine has to make sure they get as much corruption sorted as possible as otherwise it could threaten to bring them to lose the war.

Searches were conducted in the regional military committee in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated on the fact of illegal enrichment for 350,000 USD.-the Prosecutor Generals office reports.

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine ,the head of the regional TPC arranged for his father several cars and two apartments in the city of Dnipro.

The figure also registered an enterprise for a family member which purchased non-residential premises with a total area of about 500 square metres.

The National Bank revoked the licence and liquidated the Concord Bank.

The reason is systematic violations of the requirements of the legislation in the field of prevention and combating money laundering.

The share of the financial institution was 0.17% of the assets of solvent Banks,so it's withdrawal from the market will not affect the stability of the Ukrainian Banking sector.

I assume martial law has increased the ability of the SBU to uncover corruption schemes.  If so, let martial law continue for a period after the war.  Much of the issue will be changing the mentality of those in power.

in ukraine, this IS NOT corruption or treason...
this is called "The Underground Economy"

you gotta do - what you gotta do
I guarantee these people weren't volunteers

you can always learn to leverage the things the government makes illegal into an income to get some of those hryvnia
russia is eager to exploit these people with free bags of kartoskie stolen from captured ukrainian fields as a bonus
each month whoever gives the best treason, gets a prize and Snovum Godom presents as well, and you wanna take that away from them?
HAH!!! You kidding right?

When officials steal money it’s corruption.

Boethius is correct.

I've avoided posting in this section where the people involved are mere crooks and not officials.

The fake documents one was borderline, because we don't yet know who was involved or whether anyone from the Ministry of Internal affairs was involved or not.

Criminals are everywhere...we have plenty here in the UK too.

For example i read about a criminal gang in Ukraine who have been running a people smuggling racket to get young men out of Ukraine to avoid military service.but i haven't posted the details because it doesn't seem that any officials were involved...just a bunch of chancers no different than the people smuggling gangs smuggling people into the UK.

I didn't post the details in the enemy within section either..because one could say the gang had been saving young mens lives..although they weren't  doing it for that reason but to enrich themselves.

The SSU is conducting a search of People's Deputy Dubinsky ,who went on vacation abroad under the guise of treating a relative.

It is also being investigated how when he was abroad he signed documents in Ukraine ( this may indicate their forgery ).

He faces up to six years in prison..

SSU exposed the managers of the National Guard training centre.who unjustifiably accrued almost one million "combat" bonuses.

The officials of this institution charged themselves and their subordinates a monthly supplement of UAH 100,000.which is provided for direct participation in  hostilities against the Russian occupiers.

At the same time ,the participants in the transaction were not in the areas of combat operations and did not perform any tasks on the front line.
