Tinder for dating

During lunch, I was reading local paper and saw an article about the fairly new dating site called Tinder.  It apparently is an app for mobile phones.  I don't have such a phone, so I don't know how that stuff works.

Anyway, I guess the contacts via Tinder are growing like crazy.  The article mentioned how it might take a few weeks to make real contact via eharmony, whereas on Tinder you could possibly meet within hours.

I have always said I wouldn't want to go through teenage and 20 years again . . . but something like this sounds like a lot of fun for guys and gals on the prowl.

On the prowl is right.  We're talking multiple hookups, instantaneously.  There is no issue here about what Tinder is used for......... from a previous generation: Sock it to me, Baby, let it all hang out!

It is not for serious relationships, more like a "hook up and have casual sex" app. 

Then again, a bunch of guys have met serious women off ADate, so, stranger things have happened ...

It's pretty much a barrage of looking at photos and selecting the ones you like. I watched a show where the attractive women pretty much swiped through most of the guys so it is probably no different than other sites, just a faster way for people that get a lot of attention to shift through the profiles faster.

This site is great if you are a woman, and a slut!  Not so good if you are an average or below looking guy, or above 25 years old, or a sincere woman looking for a partner.  I have talked to a couple good looking college guys who get laid all the time because of it, it's pretty well known that the women on here are down for it the first night, and ok with never being seen again.
