You don't have a reputation for playing games. We know you didn't find an alien ship although the alien ship may have found you like it did me in 1986. I was abducted and experimented on physically and sexually.

BillyB..... NOW! I understand what your lovely bride finds so remarkable about you, it is not your intelligence, your wit or your kindness. It was those grafts the aliens performed in order to see who you would fair with the opposite sex  :clapping:

I insisted I drive 20 hours ...Are you sure you want to sell those Roman coins to me?
Sure, though it'll take you a bit longer to drive from Washington State over to Milan :-\. Your car is amphibious, I hope ;D?

BTW, here are 2 Roman Aeris in my possession. Anyone interested in making an offer ;D ?

Actually Roman coins are not that rare with a few exceptions.   If anyone is willing to pay much for yours I have a couple I would willingly sell.  I think I paid about 3 bucks for them but that was back some time ago (eons actually).   Some are worth quite a bit of money.  My son bought a piece of jewelry with a roman coin in it at a garage sale for 20 bucks.  The coin was one of the rare ones.   He turned around and sold the coin for $ 3500.00.   He seems to have a knack for finding things.  He just bought a painting for next to nothing that is going on auction in a few weeks and expected to bring 20 grand or so.  The seller thought it was a print and it was an oil painting.

Way back I used to see ads for 10 Roman coins for 5 bucks or the like.  That too wasn't recently.  As a teen I was a numismatist.  Still have a pretty cool collection.

I thought that a numismatist and cool were oxymoronic.  ;D

What sort of medicine did you have to take to get cured?
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

It's a condition not an illness. Most boys grow out of it about the
same time that they stop reading Mad magazine, but others have
it all their lives. There is a treatment, not a drug but it's only
68.8% successful.

The treatment is to see a perfectly formed pair of boobies or a
completely naked woman. Something clicks in the brain of most
young men and studying coins and various methods of settling
debts takes a back seat to the studying ways to see another pair
of boobies and the condition is cured.

Which brings us neatly back to the topic of the thread!

Just to add to this story, guy got his wife to sign a prenup, told her how much he was worth after their wedding day (very touching). Yet there was no disclosure in the prenup? Not worth the paper it was printed on, very strange story.

You obliviously did not completely read or retain the story. The lady in question had the Prenup looked over by her own legal counsel paid for in the blind (he did not know or want to know who she selected to examine the agreement) prior to marring.

As for being worth the paper it is written on, that depends on the country, the state (province or territory) and the individual court where the divorce (if one happens) is filed.

There are NO guarantees in life about anything but when and where possible a man and occasionally a woman needs to protect themselves wherever and whenever possible.

Romantic no. Necessary? Hopefully not, useful always.

You obviously did not retain or understand what a prenup consists of. If she had outside counsel, they would have told her what the prenup contained. it would usually have full disclosure if it is stand up in court. If she filed for divorce in russia he would have been screwed without the full disclosure, all of this would have been advised to him by any reputable lawyer . He didn't mind telling her about his net worth on their wedding night, so he would have happily disclosed this information in the prenup, it is common sense.

This story is fiction, but it is a great story to read. You spent a lot of time to make it as magical as possible.

"Yes, in that prenuptial agreements are “contracts” and like any other contract the court can review it to determine the magnitude of its enforceability. Coincidedly, no it is not binding but the courts again would have to determine whether there was “full disclosure.

And you are 100% privileged to all of the information? Are you certain that all of the requirements for a valid Prenup were not met?

Seems a bit presumptuous.

since the story is fiction the details don't matter much, the board is for entertainment purposes...

though well imagined and not ill-told, this story has a definite lack of fundamental research of the subject material that unfortunately leads to a lack of plausibility of the story’s basic narrative.  the author‘s response to his own “financial impotence” by the creation of this “financial fiction” is readily apparent through-out the telling of this “tall-tale”, indeed if it were any taller it would likely be receiving a contract with the NBA with a high 7 figure yearly salary plus product endorsements, which the author would likely cite in some future tale. it is the humble opinion of this reviewer that the author should not quit his day job as a pump salesman, oops, too late, looks as though he’s already done that :(
