Some sites even show the number of letters, or amount of interest a woman has..
I advise you to forget any and all of that.
If a women interests you , simply contact her.
Initially at least, there will only be a few possible outcomes:
1. she isn't equally interested in you,so you won't get a reply
2.it is not the *real* person behind it, or a ghost or old profile ,so you may ,or may not get a reply
3.she is at least temporarily interested in you ,for any number of reasons , and replies.
in any of the three cases ,
how much current attention she has ,or how long she has been availble or not ,
shouldn't mean squat to you.
If you believe to be a good man for her , act like it.
(this is all most sincere women expect, why many folks over complicate this, i have no idea)
if you fret over contacting ghost profiles, scam profiles, out of date profiles,
or insincere women..
again only a few things you can do:
1.reevaluate your own risk aversion..
and decide this just isn't for you ,as this whole system is rife with exactly that ,
despite there being hundreds of thousands of sincere single women.
2. decide it's not a big deal to weed through this ,
and then pick your contact methods accordingly to your patience level of sorting throgh
the chafe
( some methods ,or webites, have a far higher rate of "noise" ,you can certianly get a fair amount of feedback here, on rating them highest to lowest noise factors..it wont be a complete consesus ,but certainly would be a good ballpark estimates.)
this ranges GREATLY , from social sites like my space or facebook, their russian equivalents, marriage agency sites ,dating /singles sites..
tourism sites ,language sites ,christian or religiuos singles sites , or other special interest. hobbie or study group sites..
skype .icq,, mail ru ,,the list is practically endless..
3. decide you don't want to mess with profiles or the web *dating* at all ,
and just go on vacation , ,,, with no expectation and simple meet women naturally there ,
(or go to a reputable local agancy and just set up meetings ?
if you are in town ,, it isnt going to be that hard to get a date )
or run a newspaper ad campaign ,
perhaps have someone like member *jack*
set up a trip if you need logistics or help in contacting women thru such means..
or a tour if that's of interest.
There are a lot of choices..
you can avoid the whole 'net thing easily if you choose.
but it is good tool , i'd advise using it ,, just determine your own patience in doing so.
As you will run into a lot of profiles that are not *cough* real.. or current
The age of the profile might be slightly relevant?
but why pass up someone of interest because their profile was up for awhile?
A few sites show when the person was last logged on . or if they are currently active ,this is a bit more important than how long they have had a profile?
anyway if this is a large concern i'd recommend those type of sites..
