Religion
« on: August 22, 2019, 10:11:35 PM »
Good morning everyone.  It has been stated that Russia has four historic religions.  I was wondering if anyone here has dated a Jewish or Buddhist woman from Russia?  If so, what are the main differences in the courting process, family, lifestyle, etc.  I once dated a nice Belarusian woman whose grandmother was Jewish, so she wasn't 100%.  Here in the forum we focus mainly on the Russian Slavs but rarely on the minorities.  However the minorities have a pretty large population.

There are no differences.  The majority of their experiences and traditions have been formed by the USSR, not their religions, which were, for all intents and purposes, banned for seven and a half decades.  That is why the biggest celebration in Russia is not Easter (for the majority of the population), but New Year.

After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

I dated a Jewish FSU women in the states.  She enjoyed the French kisses but she didn't want to move past that so I didn't learn much about her family values and lifestyle.
Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.

Did you  try the New Zealand kiss ??
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

My beloved had an Uzbek  'Muslim' dad, and my former RU wife had a Jewish maiden name..

I saw / see no influences on their character / beliefs based on their background .
