Title: How do you phone / text your ladies mobile

I have just started using the Car phone Warehouse sim card called "Mobile World"
Calls are 10p per min and sms messages are 15p each.
I was using phone cards at 7p per min, but the reception wasnt allways good, and some times, I couldnt get through.
This is a direct dial own number sim!
Just wondering if anyone uses any other method for mobile phone communication?

I call her cellphone via Yahoo for .02 US$ per minute and text her using ipipi.com for .08 US$ per text message. Most of our conversation is through Skype.com using the video phone which is free :)

Dood, http://www.18185.co.uk last time i used it calls to russian landlines and mobiles were 1p a min. Sometimes they shoot up to a ridiculous 2p a minute but what the hell.

http://www.18866.co.uk and http://www.telediscount.co.uk - use them whenever they are cheapest.

There are a number of very inexpensive services to both Russia and the Ukraine.

Can anybody find a cheap way to call Belarus?

Thanks for this Ste! I have just checked and their price for calling a Ukraine mobile is the same at 10p per min, so I will stick with the mobile worl sim for now as its a direct dial without needing a prefix number.
However their SMS rate at 1p per message looks like a goer for me!

Because I'm crap at texting, at evenings and weekends (to supplement phoning on my landline), I love to text through 18185's website/my PC.
 
At 1p a shot.   Giving it many shots, as there's a limit of 160 characters per msg.

Right now we use regular sms (20 c / message), but I am definitely looking for a cheaper solution. Unlimited data plan are still not interesting in Canada.
The main problem is that she has not yet internet in her apartment but this should be solved next month :) I call her using skype out.

We are planning to use wifi/skype phone starting in february.

for sms (around 300/400 per month) we are still looking for a solution....

You can SMS through SKYPE. It costs about $0.06 per SMS. You can send an SMS to her phone while on SKYPE. It opens a chat window, and she can respond back to you.
