Whats up with all the women with tiny dogs?
« on: October 04, 2011, 10:41:03 AM »
When browsing profiles on Ukrainian dating sites I see that many girls have pictures of themselves with a tiny dog. Why are tiny dogs so popular with Ukrainian women?

Tiny apartments with no private yards.
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

There was a fad in the West to have tiny dogs as well, which is now passing.  I suspect that's the case in Ukraine.  Certain breeds have always been "in vogue", there, and then pass.

The apartment size/lack of private yards is mostly irrelevant.  I knew plenty of people with dogs who lived in those same tiny apartments, usually with 4 or 5 other people.  There are a lot of parks in Ukraine.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten
