Belgorod Regional Officials have stated that " Ukrainian Forces " have entered and partially captured at least 4 settlements near the border region ,including the towns of Kozinka,Glotova,Gora-Podol and Grayvoron with heavy fighting still going on in the north.

"Freedom of Russia Legion and Russian Volunteer Corps are conducting an operation in the Belgorod region to create a security strip to protect Ukrainian civilians .Operation is carried out exclusively by Russian citizens -Andril Yusov spokesman of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Ukraine.

and has hung a cheap iron curtain to stem the flow of fleeing Russians
and is  preparing for "involuntary unpaid labor" as a solution to the industrial labor crisis
especially since eliminating child labor laws didn't help enuff with this problem

and these issues are in addition to the huge decline in medical care due to a shortage of medical personnel and hospital space
and of course the hundreds of thousands of casualties
and hundreds of billions of dollars lost, it'll be a trillion dollar loss soon

this negatively impacts every single Russian

not a damned thing Russians can do about it
2% of the Russian population works for a state security service
it's like a citizen's complaint service
with the goal being that there are no complaints

yesterday a small drone hit an electrical sub-station outside Simpheropol and knocked out some power
there's a couple of major saboteur operations every week in Crimea, looks to me to be done by the same group
after the patriots missiles scored their hits, putin leaves kyiv alone and picks other cities now

the US Marine Corps was planning on gettin rid of their Harrier II planes
but sent a large number to poland
i wonder if Ukraine is secretly training on these
they don't carry a large payload, but they don't need an airfield either
and since these planes were gonna be scrapped anyway, they're "expendable"
they can carry the same payload as a DeHavilid Mosquito from WWII
2-2,000 pound laser guided bombs would do the kerch bridge

Russians are FICKLE
the more they see Putin lose his grip
the less they're gonna bow down to him
Belgorod is just another step of the slippery slope that Putin is falling down

there is also practical value in addition to the "optics"

probably part of the intent considering its' timing
it's a psy-ops, pure and simple
100 soldiers and a few pieces of equipment ain't exactly storming the beach at Normandy to liberate France, but when the emporer is shown naked, you'll see how insecure he is over his teeny tiny willy

if Ukraine succeeeds in isolating Crimea this summer
then the war will enter a brand new phase

Well, in truth for sure I get you, less time on here and more time learning Russian I think. You're video of free Russian legion talking Russian told me that I still need to put a lot more time and effort into learning Russian. I was due to start back on that last week in my spare time but suffered a bad setback. I think I'm now getting past that so should be on course to get back onto that with gusto this weekend onwards. So indeed I may be on here a bit less in the near future for a while until I feel I've got it well and truly conquered.

The house will soon be sorted and looking at the inflation situation in the UK which looks like although it's fallen to 8.7 percent this month it looks like underlying factors such as fuel, heating, food, services, etc costs are going to keep it high. So going into any further investments I'll as decided put off and focus on my personal life. As you rightly state Krim I'm at an almost now or never point so it's this year/Summer I've got to make a push for it. The only thing that can offset the slippery slide down the other side to some extent is a bigger, better lifestyle, but for me that will be playing more time when I can make a go off it now.

Moldova is still the first port of call, a Ukrainian girl I have always felt affinity for. Russian girl maybe but as you rightly point out, it's awkward over there for that at the moment.

Lol, I appreciate the intense one to one help this board gives and I guess I needed, also that you would like me to find happiness That's not always easy on this life, lots of pitfalls exist.

I'm surprised this board is not more active. I think a lot of people have given up on FSU dating as both Ukraine and even to a large extent Russia are no go zones. However, I would still rather take my chances in Moldova than the UK, I think there could still be chances there.

The UK is a mess both for dating and people's lives. About half of all families are now single parent families. Single people are also way more numerous now also than the 80/90s and before. Some may be happy enough in that, for the moment but I think it's all going to come to even more grief soon. As that generation gets older and family members pass on that's when I think it will be felt, people being isolated and living sad lifestyles.

I'm not sure why more guys aren't on here to find out the low down, I think they are all like the women living today ok enough and not really wanting to acknowledge what's around the corner. Kind of strange though as I think it's dawning on guys in the UK that the UK is no good for dating. So where they are going or what they are doing I don't know.

Apparently on Tinder men outnumber women by approximately 2 to 1. That and women only chose about the same 10 percent of men on there, roughly. So dating apps aren't working in the west, speed dating doesn't work.

I think with all the risks a lot of guys just aren't bothering or they do stuff like Tinder get fed up after a while or just think that is all there is. I think most people unless the answer to their dating situation is delivered to their door & convenient they don't want to know. They just want what's on their doorstep. It's like if a guy goes to the FSU and bring a girl back to home country in the west then many local guys will see it as fair game to have a crack at her the moment his back is turned. Would they go over to the FSU and do all the groundwork to get a FSW? Hell no, but they will Happy have a crack at a FSW brought into the country by some other guy who has done all the work & effort.

Generally I think most guys are probably just going into work, going back to their abode, cooking, sleeping, playing video games and watching Netflix, etc. Probably a bit of booze and whatever else mixed in plus hand out with any friends, work colleagues, etc. That probably how they get by. If they want sex they probably get in Fans Only or similar and do that, likely way easier and better choice than the cringe worthy curb crawling of the past.

Basically if they can get stuff to fill in for a Life that what they do rather than have a life. I think western women do similar probably minus video games and any of those wanting sex trying to get it more or less free on Tinder aside from the subscription fee of course.

Then of course the there's the whole Global warming & virus thing. Some may not see much point in bothering too much about the concept of a 'future' if we are all indeed going to be screwed at some point by either of both of those possible issues.

Potentially part of the issue other than the above could be the potential pay off reducing for US guys as it's a long flight that costs a bit and now only Moldova otherwise Georgia or the Stans if willing to go even further afield, few probably are. For UK guys it's likely a case of whether they have their own house, few single guys do or at least a decent paying job. Otherwise will even an everyday FSW be interested in them? Will even an everyday FSW stay with them or upgrade once they get here if they don't have that. So many guys probably know they don't fit the frame from the word go. Kind of a shame as was quite a vibrant scene but I guess at least potentially a clearer field of competition for me and let's face it in the west that makes a pleasant change for a guy.
