Billy,

As my post said..Russia isn't claiming they had the warships in the English channel for entertainment purposes for their people back home...that is Moby's claim.

Rather big difference.

As a Russian commentator said, in summary..

Зачем сопровождали? Чтобы не заблудились? ..

"Why ( the need) to accompany .. to prevent being lost ?  .."

Yes CB, the article in the DM ( and others ) got quoted and mocked ..  but you 'understand' Russian so much better than I ..

Why don't you subscribe to a RU news feed ( or two)  and you'd not be posting in a manner that proves ignorance ...

So it's no economic burden to us....and if we're lucky we'll catch one of those Russian warplanes in our actual airspace so we can shoot it down..just like Turkey did.

And Russia would deny it was in your airspace even if it landed on
the Chiswick bridge.

You forgot:

7/ VVP is a good man with only the best interests of Russia at heart

8/ BoJo is the greatest PM since Churchill

That's fodder for the other place

You forgot:

9/ Use of 'England' ( when referring to the UK )

Yeah, I forgot about that one.

10/ Wearing a surgical mask is essential during the viral pandemic

That's one I could care less about. If people were running around in bike
helmets and knee pads I wouldn't feel the need to point out to everyone
that it probably won't help much.

Moby,

Don't try one of your infamous mobyswerves on me..it won't work.

If the Royal Navy hadn't announced what had happened the Daily Mail(and others) wouldn't have had anything to report about...and the Russian people wouldn't have known anything about it.

So..your claim that Russia sent warships into the English channel to entertain the people back home is gibberish.

They can try, but it's not like the Brits would care about Russiann= tourists  being told not to visit ( like what happened to Turkey) if a 'Bear' had it's wings clipped ...
