'Bad news' for Ukraine?
« on: February 15, 2017, 02:01:24 PM »
As any fan of the spectacle that is the Eurovision Song Contest will know - Kyiv - having won last year are the hosts

But all is not well :(

Eurovision 2017: Organising team quits en masse

FAR more important than 'Tramp' - as any European - which includes Australia and the likes of Azerbaijan - will know ;)

I have odd memories 'helping' during a blizzard long ago when the the junior 'Euro' song festival was held in Kiev

I saw this too. Interesting how this long standing European music event may not get held or may have to be relocated after the board resigned. I'm sure the fact that THE Ukraine is hosting it is a COMPLETE coincidence.  :clapping:

So-- what is the problem-- Eurovision 2017 is happening in KYIV .Ukraine still won in 2016 !

The utter stupidity of creating a thread with that title is systematic of the sickness of some of the apologists for Russia and it's disgusting behaviour.
Meanwhile  ,good Ukrainians are being killed and injured everyday-millions of people are displaced in a humanitarian crisis created by Putin & Russia,  --now that is the BAD news.

Russians are killing Ukrainians every single day.

But IS it...?  ALL sorts of disasters :(

Couldn't resist quoting from 'pink news' )

http://www.pinknews.co.uk/2017/02/08/eurovision-ticket-sales-postponed-indefinitely-as-more-problems-hit-troubled-ukraine-contest/
Fans of the Eurovision Song Contest are still without tickets with just 12 weeks to go – after the planned launch of ticket sales was axed at the last minute.

The utter stupidity of creating a thread with that title is systematic of the sickness of some of the apologists for Russia and it's disgusting behaviour.

No need to demonstrate you are yet another inattentive contributor ...

1/ Did you notice the parentheses around bad news ?

2/ Whilst my beloved and ex are Russian citizens, I'm known as a 'russiophobe'  [ :) ] in another place - and most of my posts disputing bollox about MH17 , Crimea or E.Ukraine aren't allowed to see the light of day - least they upset the sponsor there and I have never been a fan of VVP - so, so much for being an 'apologist'..

If you only took the time check your sources and their FACTS before posting anti- Kremlin stuff and thensuggesting nonsense on this thread...

Meanwhile  ,good Ukrainians are being killed and injured everyday-millions of people are displaced in a humanitarian crisis created by Putin & Russia,  --now that is the BAD news.

Indeed, but you have made your 'own thread' - yet suggest I have 'no right' to post light-hearted gossip ?!

More bad news for Ukraine. Putin just signed an order to recognize Ukrainian Separatists issued passports. That means they are recognizing parts of Eastern Ukraine being independent of Ukraine. Possible step towards annexation.

Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.

Not much doubt that Russia is moving to do exactly that.
The likelihood of Ukraine getting better equipment and a more supportive US has set Putin on the next stage of his agenda  ie to consolidate and make as much territory as possible .
At some point -- my advice to Ukraine would be to ignore Minsk and remove the Russians by force--it will be the only way they will ever leave.  Minsk served it's purpose for Ukraine-- to allow time to get it's breath and reorganise and largely retrain the military.
Regardless of what some still believe-- Russia is on borrowed time--nearly out of money, the military no where near as capable as some try and tell us.
The bad news is that Ukraine will incur more cost and lives will be lost as a result of Putin's invasion.
