Brave Girl

I am not offended by your question. If my beloved was going to leave shortly afte her interview, yes, I would have gone, stayed and then taken her home. But to make two trips in less than 6 weeks, with each trip being only 2/3 days each, was not possible. For many reasons. Also, she always wanted to do it alone. Her choice.

And if you think about, I did support her. Only from a distance.

Congrats Viking!!
What a climatic ending. Good you stuck to your guns and made it all happen. I couldn't imagine the stress and disappointment had your Fianceé returned home to Belarus without a Visa!!   :applaud:
That's two of us here who will be united with their Loved One in North America on March 16th!!    :couple:

Congrats Viking!  Sounds like you really got a power hungry officer.  Its amazing you were able to actually get a live person on the phone at the embassy, esp the IO.  And such fax problems in this "super age of communications".   The bottom line is you persisted and got thru it and can now look forward to your lives together.   It will be so nice to not have to say goodbye at the airports anymore, and tell her you will try to get back to see her in 5 or 6 months!  Been there ,done that!   -jj
