That 'estimated' million death report by ORB is much higher than anyone else has counted or estimated.

No matter what the actual number is or how any estimate is derived at a lot of innocent people died, was Gulf 2 really necessary? Gulf 1 a case can be made for ousting Saddam, as for the ineptness and neglect of our negotiators who failed miserably in the aftermath, not so much.

The U.S. made a mess of Iraq, the suffering and misery is largely the fault of ineptness by the Bush administration and every other administration since then.

The issues in the middle east today go back to the largely arbitrary decisions by the British after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. While it is historically important to know how the world got to where it is, we have to live in the world of the here and now.

The U.S. and England along with other players have fomented revolt and revolution throughout the region in order to bring what was described to me as controlled chaos.

So far that has not gone so well has it?

Every other administration?  You mean there was more than one?

How many U.S. Administrations have there been since Desert Storm Gulf 1 in 1990?

NATO is Two Properties Away From a Baltic Monopoly, and Russia Is Freaking Out

Last week, after 200 years of Swedish neutrality, the country's Center Party switched its position and, for the first time, came out in support of Sweden's membership in NATO, joining a small, but growing pro-membership faction in the country.
