Average body temperature

Guys, Ochka wants me to have you ask your FSU wives what they have always been told the average body temperature for well person was in celsius.

And no I don't mean for anyone to take  our 98.6 F and translate to celsius

So without any words to them about the 98.6 F, etc. . . . what do they immediately say is the standard in celsius.

37C.  However, temperatures fluctuate, so "average" actually can be anywhere from 36.1C to 37.3C.

 My wife, who's mother is a doctor said 36.8 C. I checked Wiki and she is right for temp taking by oral means. It would be 37 if temp taken by anal means.

36.6 C  which equates to 97.88F  I can't tell you how many time this has been discussed here.  I gave up trying long ago.

You do realize 36.6 C is just the mean.  My wife's body temperature fluctuates daily in the range of
32-42 C.  My observation is  based on how she readjusts the thermostat frequently at home, and every few minutes when driving.

I think average body temperature can/is different depending on the person. I think you mean 'normal' body temperature???

This also questions whether a person is 'cold blooded' or warm blooded'. 


Besides, from what I have read here, the girls in FSU are 'hot', so maybe their 'average' body temp is a little higher than rest of world!!!

Not to worry.  Being married to Gator she has learned reptilian temperature regulation using ventilation and other behaviors.   Besides its only at the surface.
