Stan countries..
« on: May 24, 2016, 02:24:26 PM »
Hey gals and guys..

What about the STAN countries.. everyone here is cheering for Russia and Ukraine, understandable and obvious, but what about all these other nations.. I have like no experience with them but was approached the other night by a woman from Tajikistan, after just a couple of hours we ended up on the phone talking for hours.. and its been like that for a few evenings now.. really nice and sweet girl, a little younger then my "target-group"  -she is 32- but I am not saying no right of the bat just because of age..

But what about these countries, now she is not a Muslim, so that part is taken care of.. but what about the rest? Any solid advice/opinions? Anyone traveled these parts of the globe that have any insight?
Multitasking means screwing up several things at once.

I think it's a good idea to expand one's search to include The 'stans. Many guys look in Kiev or Moscow but far fewer look in the 'stans. Every attractive girl I have known in st. petersburg, moscow, or kiev has been visited by a number of guys and has become far more picky than girls elsewhere.

While the 'stans are Muslim, you can easily find girls there who are not Muslim if that is your preference. some might say that the trip there would be long and arduous, but that's just an extension of what we are doing anyway: taking a trip halfway across the world in hopes of finding/building a good relationship.

I know of several guys who have met their wives in the 'stans. I suggest expanding your search to include girls living there.

I know another guy who posts little here but thrilled he found a sweet girl in Uzbekistan.
My ex fiancée was ethnic Russian living in Uzbekistan. Been there 4 times and I believe guys can find real gems there if they're willing to put some effort into writing those girls and spending a little more money in having to travel further. The governments of those nations seem strict but most everybody I met was friendly.

The divorce rate is very low in the STANS. I think in Uzbekistan the divorce rate is 12% the last time I looked. Although this statistic may apply to Muslims more than Christians, I believe ethnic Russians who live in the STANS are bigger believers in marriage and sticking together during tough times than those in other FSU countries.

Although the lady you're communicating with is below your target age group, if you're having great conversation and she's a real gem, don't let another guy get to her first.
Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.

Funny I've been thinking of looking at the 'stans' recently, I've noticed that some of the girls from that region are real hot looking - kind of nice dark hair but still essentially white chicks, fit bods, etc, Some are a little Asian/muslim looking for my taste - I've never really been interested in Thai bride and some are a little towards that way in looks. Still its a good option with the right one I think. Was in communication with one for a little bit but dropped it as she had a kid and I think she started asking questions about my wealth so too risky for my liking there.

I think though that its probably better territory to head for, more for us Brits as from where we are its less of a flight and of course expense- can be as short as a 8-9 hour flight to Kazakhstan and about £5-600 for a week. So only slightly more than the Ukraine and Russia. I think a lot of US guys leave it because of the flight time and cost, that and the unfamiliarity of the region. This is a big plus I believe as less encouragement for a scam culture to grow up. Still got to be careful of girls wanting to be saved from poverty who will later ditch you (Mule). My thinking is though that places like the Ukraine particularly and also parts of Russia are awash with scammers of all variety as its become such a lucrative trade in a poor country that chances of getting a decent girl now are slim, I think that boat sailed about 15-20 years ago. Course one big bonus with the 'stans' is that Russia is not banging at the door, well not yet at least.

Trench, I see now why you had no luck.

You think you visited some place called 'The Ukraine.'

Well maybe you will have better luck in 'The Kazakhstan.'

There are several very good pieces here on this forum's Cultural section on the Stans. I'd suggest that you learn by searching and visiting those articles and photos.

I went. It was ok. I have no interest in returning. That said, if you're looking for a white girl chances are she is motivated to get out of the country. Now IMO too many people view this with concern, when they should look at it as a bonus feature.  She wants out, she is ready to.go without the worry of the final hour saying I can't leave my country.
Because some girls have lofty dreams of living abroad but when it's commitment time, she bails on the move. I know a couple of situations where that happened.  If you decide to look in say Uzbekistan,  you will need to do things in a country that is very unlike Ukraine or Russia. Ethnic Russians are leaving UZ in a steady stream for a host of reasons, so if she tells you about leaving just keep your head on straight and get to know the girl. Wanting some human rights and freedoms, isn't a crime in the 1st world.
As for UZ they do get some western tourists, so you won't be totally lost. Tashkent has some enjoyable streetside cafés, and a few interesting attractions.
Be a solid guy and you'll find a good girl anywhere.

OMG

I suppose you are another 'well-travelled' person who is an expert on London..who thinks there are no go areas  :D

There are VERY few immigrants from southern former Soviet Republics in the UK .. unless one includes Afghanistan - and most of those are young men claiming political asylum or illegal  :D

Oh, 'sorry' you were trying to be 'witty'? ... my 'bad'  :rolleyes2: :puke:

I never considered the 'stans - particularly after the issues Don had with bureaucracy and delays getting the docs required to get his Missus into Canada...

I wasn't even into the more Asian look - but ended up with a lass born there and can only say perhaps the women may be a fantastic secret  ;D

I have a female friend in London who says she is harassed by men on occasion who ask her why she isn't wearing a veil and call her a whore.  She says this is recent, only within the last couple of years.  Imagine what would happen if they figured out she's a lesbian. :o :o

Probably try to force sex on her . . . to 'cure her.'

I presume you are talking about men from her home country.

No.  She is English.  I assume the men are British born Muslims.

Strange that the men would be saying this to obvious  English women in UK . . . because there are probably many such women there sans headscarves!!!  Would consume a lot of the men's time.

It is when she walks in predominantly Muslim populated areas.  She said this is recent, only in the last few years.

I would not have believed this if I'd read it, but I know her well enough to know she isn't lying.  She takes it in stride, but admits she is shocked it's happening in London.

My mother has been in london for 30 years, she is european, only racism she got was from english people, telling her to go back home. They probably didn't know there are more british expats in her country, than there are of her nationality in England. Some muslims won't tolerate other religions, that is true, but they won't openly say anything.

They are hardly confrontational, i challenged a few who tried to pick on Christian preachers, but even they were more preoccupied with trying to prove islam is the right way. You can go to regents park, and there are people who debate which fairy tale is more believable. If your friend is trying to provoke them by handing out leaflets regarding anything anti islam, then she would definitely get abuse, she will get challenged.

i lived in London, Birmingham, Newcastle, been to other cities also for short periods of time. The only racists i found were some English people, i got my share of abuse online. I don't mind Muslims really, me and my brother were brought up as Christians, our dad is Muslim, majority of our friends are Muslim. We should be Muslim according to the Quran, yet nobody has made a massive deal over it, no resentment, according to what you friend has said, i should get my head chopped off for not following islam. Only problem i see is BNP, and EDL trying to make a problem when there isn't any. Okay Southall doesn't resemble England, neither does where i live, in north Finchley, plenty of jews here, Jewish only schools, Jewish only clubs, they dress differently, nobody is making a big deal out of that.

What about this woman?  She spoke five languages by the age of 8 and moved from Uzbekistan when 11-yo to the US.  As an artist, she sees the world from a perspective few of us will attain.

Bo !

My ex has a friend from Russia who lived in Tower Hamlets - often mentioned as being the most 'Muslim centric' part of London.

To the best of my knowledge, neither she, her daughter or my ex were ever 'harassed'

The woman has a Muslim roommate, a gay man who was disowned by his family.  She is not anti Muslim.  She is also young.  I don't think she is lying.

Bo, I wouldn't suggest she is lying, it's just not the feedback I get from European looking ladies walking the streets of Tower Hamlets.
