Not will but would have, Bill.

Persis Khambatta died of heart failure at the age of 49 in 1998...

I know she died, however I think it would be difficult to argue that she looks better with longer hair.

I like long hair, I compliment my wife's hair at least 4-5 times per week. She knows I
love it. She knows that one of my complaints about American women is that they cut
their hair shorter and shorter every year of their life and tell each other they look cute.
She loves her hair too and loves the compliments that I give her.

I don't know how you made the jump to short hair = divorce

I didn't, others have, But I have seen it. Man loves women's hair, raves about it, years go by, compliments become a few less, one day the women needs a change.
She cuts her hair, man goes ballistic and the fun begins. They end up divorced.
( i highly doubt  hair was their only issue) but it was the final straw, she was pissed do you love me or my hair? and so the battle went, the divorced.
Funny part is today her hair is long again, hmmm oh ya it grows back.

I compliment my wife daily on many of her wonderful attributes.
But I love her, if she decided to do something with hair, makeup, cloths
or something else, I still lover her. I don't insinuate or make her feel like she has no options. She is my equal.

In fairness # 1 is not from long to short, more long to marine.
#2 I take the long.
#3 I like the short better.
For what its worth I prefer long hair, but can see the beauty in both.
Some women can pull it off. One great example is..
Halle Berry :)

I've always been attracted to women with long hair. But, I've never found short hair any kind of turn off or deal breaker. My wife had short neck length hair when I met her. Since she has both cut it shorter and let it grow past her shoulders. I've find her extremely attractive no matter how she wears it. If it's not the woman you're in love with, there's something wrong with you. *jus saying*

Otherwise just buy a wig and a few pounds of fat meat. Think of the time and money to be saved  :D

What would you do, if one day you come home from work and
your wife has cut all her hair off to some new short style.
She is happy and excited and you?

I am happy and excited as well. I no longer need to spend an hour in the gym every night. I can now sit on the couch and drink beer and eat pizza. Now that I think about it that mohawk I always wanted as a kid sounds very appealing....

Is your relationship really that shallow?
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

lol What a heated discussion.

I've dated women with all sorts of hair styles.  It really depends on the facial structure and how they style their hair even if short.

I always thought Audrey Hepburn looked great with short hair.

Audrey Hepburn looked great no matter what her hair length.

I'm still waiting for Alex to display his new Mohawk.

Does she realize you will divorce her? berate her? and
now think she is ugly.

For some the obvious answer is yes. Not to mention that another reason for the vile emotions is that she suddenly became a lesbian.  ;)

She was an excellent example of somebody who would look good bald while wearing
a potato sack. Women look better with long hair. I've never said that women look ugly
with short hair, actually I don't think anyone here has.

I actually think she looks better with shorter hair.  I do think the way it is styled is important.  Based on some of the photos you posted earlier, I find the longer hair attractive.

For example, I think Natalie Portman looks better in shorter hair like below compared to the long hair picture you posted.
