Hi...

I hope I posted this in the correct area...

Haven't been here for a while, but things are going very well so far with me and my lady, and it's high time I go spend time with her.  As I understand it, coming from Chicago - and yes, I have seen the other recent thread regarding airfares - it seems that I'd take a flight (1 stop) from Chicago to Moscow (SVO) - and then, there is a once-a-day train (Kazanskiy Railway) from Moscow-to-Y-O (and back...the same) - a 15-hour train ride.   

Looking at fares, I wish I was able to go sooner, because fares have gone up - for me, right now, R/T is in the low $900s.  It also appears that I need to leave 2 days on each side of the trip just for travel.  I am trying to find out if anyone has better advice on how I can get to Y-O.  I'm flexible on days - looking to probably go during May.
