I'm English and married to a Ukraine lady. We live in a large 2 million people city called Kharkov , one of the host cities for Euro 2012 football championship.
There are only 3 or 4 other Brits here , yes I know its a bloody long way from the UK , both geographically and socially , but why more British guys don't come over astounds me ?
The stupid comments by so called celebrity footballers and the BBC , did a lot of harm to Ukraine , in the build up to Euro 2012 . The apology from UEFA and the British Government didn't go far enough and was very low key !
Yes there is corruption in Ukraine , but there is also in many ''other'' countries in Europe.
The ladies , girls , women ....what ever you want to say , are gorgeous and out number the local guys by nearly 2 to 1 !
Most under 30 year old ladies speak English , as it is compulsory at school , college and University. So be careful when you are told that you ''must have'' a translator !
Also don't believe the so called acceptance of large age gaps , 20-25 years difference is not really a good start to a lasting relationship !!!
We own an apartment rental business and we have many international clients from all over the World coming to us every month. Many are regulars and come a couple of times or so per year, until they finally take the plunge !
Americans are our largest group of foreign tourists , that's after the Russians of course.
The British football fans missed out on a great Euro 2012 tournament , due to missinformed publicity , don't do the same with the beautiful ladies , both young and older, that are waiting in Kharkov for their Mr Right !!
