How did you handle those touchy subjects, like
religion, sex, and politics?  Any advice?
Maybe I could combine all three by having sex in
a church on independence day?  Nah.   -doug L.

If you plan on marrying and living with this person it would behoove you to learn of her religious leanings, her political bent; right, left, center, whatnot, and let her know up front that you like sex or not.

Unless you are into some really kinky things, when selecting a mate I can't imagine any taboo subjects.  It's all eventually going to come out in the wash anyway, so you shouldn't cover up or hide any bad habits at the early stages. It will only prolong the pain of losing her if she learns you've lied about something important.

Now, i will be more serious... I have speak about these 3 subjects with Galina... how i have handle ? ... from herself, each subjects was aborded when info allow me to speak about this...

- For politics, during the last election in Ukraine

- For religion, when i have know the work of her father ( cleric )

- For sex, when our feeling for each other was enough strong

Ask this in your first letter can be shocking but if you build slowly your relation, all will come from itself with time...

Like sex or not? I thought it goes without saying that I like sex.
There are guys who don't like sex and are looking for a RW?
(a la movie: 2 Brothers and a Bride)
I guess I could tell her that a couple of the wise mentors here have taught me that suction power is really important.  -doug L.

I bumped up this thread, to state that there is nearly nothing taboo. I would probably
recommend not bringing up threesomes with your girl and her kid sister, but everything
else is fair game.
FSUW are not for entry level daters
FSUW don't do vague
FSUW like a man of action. Be a man of action
If you find a promising girl, get your butt on a plane.
There are a hundred ways to be successful and a thousand ways to f#ck it up
Just kiss the girl, don't ask her first. Tolerate NO excuses!

Probably nothing is taboo . . .  given enough time.

But there are taboo subjects early in the game.

Just when is 'too early' is extremely variable from gal to gal, and can be a minefield.

Once I brought up something to a gal that I was fairly far along with (regarding intimate talk) via email and video.  She recoiled and wrote something like she was shocked beyound continuing.
Interestingly, her late teens daughter wrote me (she had set up the mother on dating site) asking me what could be done to repair the situation.  We did get back together and went on 4 week vacation trip where she eagerly participated in the activity that had previously shocked her.
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.
