Given the current political and military climate . . . why on earth would anyone have an interest in going to Russia ?

Haven't you heard of the recent 'show' trials wherein western guys were sentenced to prison ?

And probably you don't have enough value to be 'traded' for a Russian imprisoned here.

Russia is less rundown than Ukraine, less scam attempts. If you are newbie, i would recommend going to Russia, stay away from Odessa if it is your first trip. The only reason i went to Ukraine was because of the hassle with Visa's for Russia, but well worth the hassle, if i was ever going to do a search for FSUW again, Russia is the place to go. Women are also a little more honest generally.

I would say go looking for women outside Moscow, i was engaged to someone in Moscow however. But generally Moscow is more upscale, you won't be able to use the prospect of leaving Russia as a leverage so much in Moscow, it has changed. There is Russia, and then there is Moscow, Moscow is different financial dynamic than you would find in Ukraine and Russia.

Kiev isn't so much upscale compared to the other cities in Ukraine, such as Kharkiv, Odessa, Lviv etc , but the difference between Moscow and other cities is clear to see, financially that is.

Welcome,
MrsSadow is from Moscow, and we ge our fedback (and updates on Dutch news) from our MIL who still lives there.Russia is big, has all kinds of eople and women As is Ukraine. My tips:
- be prepared, that means be sure you hive time and money to travel, and of course a valid passport.
- do not be a wallet on legs. If yu are not respected, you will not have a lot of success- act fast, the women will not sit waiting for ou forever.
and above all:- hav fun..
No it is not a dog. Its really how I look.  ;)

I would add avoiding Nikolaev for the inexperienced as well. Odessa and Nikolaev
have large MOB industries designed to get into your wallet and play with your brain.

If you are experienced and have contacts that you know there then go ahead.
This is advice for the novice/newbies.

+1
1/ Odessa 2/ Nikolaev to avoid and maybe Lviv but for the shortage of women, especially in the young age.

Not sure about MOB terminology, as I wasn't around then . But a common scam is women will take you to a place , and owners will overcharge you, to the hundreds. I heard guys losing 800 bucks, the switch the menus , once you are in you are finished.

Many women tried it with me in Odessa , I left to somewhere else , travelled throughout Ukraine , dated young hot women , never had issues like I did in Odessa. I haven't been to the city you mentioned but take your word for it.

Ukraine attracts more potential scams , Russia is calm and good .I wish I was still there

My words are completely useful to any man who is thinking about going to Russia today.

Ask Former U.S. Marine Paul Whelan if he wished he had not gone to Russia.

I will say that when I speak to relatives from Ukraine, they have no fear in criticizing their government, or specific politicians.  Those living in Russia always steer away from politics.  It's clear they have some fear about discussing such matters.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

Ukraine has more scammers because more WM go to Ukraine.  When Russia was an easier place for travel, there were plenty of scams there, too.  There still are, though not as many as in Ukraine.

When was the last time you were in Russia, ML?
I have been going 2-3 times a year since Americans can get 3 year visa and 1-2 times a year for almost 8 years.
Only time I had problems was in 2006 when police consistently stopped me....... asking to see my papers.

When was the last time you were in Russia, ML?

There were a reported 769 homicides in Chicago in 2020.

But no one would actually know this, if they had not been in Chicago during that time.

Ask Former U.S. Marine Paul Whelan if he wished he had not gone to Russia.
From what I read Mr Whelan has himself to blame, just like other political clowns that gry how bad they are treated both in and out of Russia.Unless you wish to flaunt your American political flag Russia is safe to travel.
