The Kremlin propaganda machine and what REALLY happened

Can you imagine there's a place were most news by western agencies is questioned as 'fake' and only Kremlin owned / controlled news agencies can be trusted ?

As this forum doesn't delete posts for folks having a differing opinion - I thought it'd be to discuss the veracity of news folks in the FSU read

To kick off :

A Russian SU-25 was shot down over Idlib province and it is claimed:

1/ the Russians killed the perpetrator with a 'precision strike' within hours

2/  the pilot landed in a 'terrorist' zone and used his own grenade to prevent capture

My question:

Who are this 'terrorists' ? - given many of the people in Idlib are from Aleppo - previously the biggest city in Syria and mostly not well-disposed to Al-Assad and his dynasty regime.

Do the average Russians know that this kicked off because Syrian folks dared to protest in the street and were fired on and bombed from the air?

WHY is Russia aiding this regime and ( frankly) making Russian civilians targets for revenge?

Do the average Russians know

I'm curious what the average Russian gets for news. Is everybody against Assad a terrorist? Do they believe the terrorists, not Assad used chemical weapons? Do they believe rescuing Assad is a good thing? Of course rescuing Assad and maintaining influence in the Middle East serves Russia's interest and most patriots can accept that even if saving Assad isn't a good thing.

Or how about BEFORE he pulled the pin?  It could very well be that he had killed a number of people and was, therefore, unable to negotiate a surrender.

Pilots carry guns but never heard of them carrying explosives in the cockpit. Why increase the chances of their plane going down? Are they sure the pilot used his own grenade or was one thrown at him?

Perhaps the Russians have their own standard issue aircraft grade grenade that doesn't explode below cabin pressure at cruising altitude.

Hmm, won't a curare-laced silver coin poison like what Gary Powers carried be more efficient? 

Actually, come to think of it, the Taiwanese U2 suicide squad used to have all U2 spyplanes fitted with an automatic explosive device to self-destruct the U2 in case it was downed, unbeknownst to the Taiwanese pilots!

That's because there are no chemical weapons in Syria since Russia cleaned it all up.


American news isn't covering the story either because it would show Putin duped Obama again. Remember the reason why Obama didn't act when Assad crossed the line was because Russia promised to rid Assad's stockpile of chemical weapons.

You fail to ignore anything good Trump has done or you simply have comprehension problems. He criticized Obama for not enforcing the line he said he was going to enforce. When the line was crossed, Trump bombed Syria. Trump even reported a few days ago Syria continues to produce chemical weapons. He probably has been giving Israel the green light to bomb the facilities.

I really don't think he will be bombing North Korea.  But I do agree that it would be too much, the consequences would likely be too severe.   Trump's words/rhetoric have failed to 'contain' north korea.

Sanctions never worked on anybody. Trump ridicules the previous presidents for not doing enough. Trump is a different kind of guy and he believes he will save America and millions of lives in the future if he does something now. He doesn't want to go down in history as the same guy as the predecessors he ridicules.

Only two countries make the fuel for those Ukrainian rocket boosters North Korea has and that is China and Russia. Earlier I posted articles stating Russian and Chinese ships are transferring goods and fuel to North Korean ships out in the ocean violating sanctions. They like mad dog nations like North Korea and Iran if it helps them achieve their objectives of becoming top dog.

It sounds more like a BillyB post - based on the nonsense conclusion . It's not like America ( or Britain ) hasn't backed questionable regimes or regime changes ... which is why so many Iranians hated us...

IF you knew Iran - you'd know that it has a conservative leadership - that is all powerful - but the PEOPLE are getting uppity with the regime - as more and more progressives get elected.

Then we get 'real smart' US leaders that put blanket bans on Iranians visiting family members settled in the US - most of whom fled the regime ...

So, yes - yet another 'Tampu' fail..
