Jazzy,

From another thread I now understand your delight.  He is a fine wee one, precious indeed.   Enjoy the little prince, because as I mentioned I raised two boys, and they do get bigger.  They become young teenagers, watch the dreadful Jackass movie, and invent their own skits such as this one:

Thanks:) I think he does have my eyes:) that is so sweet that somebody else noted it as well:) I think he looks a lot like me:)It is funny though my other half thinks he looks like him and I see him as little me:))) I guess we look at him through our own perspective:)

He's absolutely gorgeous, Jazzy. And be glad you can each see a little of yourselves, in him. :) We have a two-month old and everyone we meet immediately comments that she looks exactly like dad. My wife is starting to roll her eyes whenever she hears it -- and it's no pleasure for me either, whenever someone says, "she looks just like you!" I can't help it but my mind immediately tries to imagine my daughter with a goatee and a little beer belly.

If it is any consolation to her, groov, tell her they do change over time.  Eventually, they look like themselves. :)

After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

I will place some pictures soon, got to check them on the camera.

Our oldest has started the first phase of school, giving his mother some more time. Teachers of this age are a bit lost as the guy does not have a lot of experience in colouring or drawing (and pretends not to understand what they say) but does know how to count in 3 languages. Apart from that he has an incredible memory managing to repeat a song by hearing it two or three times, or to tell what will happen if the TV program is a re-run.

The youngest is now only starting to say some clear words, but regularly manages to amaze us. Started walking at 14 months, but within three weeks already seemed like he never did anything else. He has the remarkable ability to analyse and copy almost anything from us. Starting with when we show him a diaper, he runs to the changing place and assumes position. Where we to teach his brother stacking cubes for some time, this guy started without us ever remembering to show. Seeing hid brother drink from a cup, he manages to imitate the move. He could open a door, if only he was tall enough to reach the handle... And above all he has quite some physical strength. In the fight for toys with his brother, he often manages to hold on so tight that even we as parents have trouble. If he wats to see something above his head, he can just put his hands on the edge and pull himself up, hanging on his arms only.

The teacher told our oldes was stubborn. I warned her that the youngest, who looks so quiet in comaprison, is probably worse. If he wishes to go somewhere (like climbing op 16 steps of the stairs) the only way to change his mind is to block the entrance. Then if after 30 minutes the entrance is open due to getting something, it takes him 10 seconds to reach it and do what he was planning...
No it is not a dog. Its really how I look.  ;)

I have a question but I don't want to read all the previous posts and maybe find nothing.
My wife has a 27 year old daughter and I was wondering if anyone knows the visa wait from Russia for her. I saw yesterday from the Phillipines it was 23.5 years   :o

It depends on the Service Center where the petition would be filed. For example, in California SC it will be (in the right column petitions from that date are being in the process now)
I-130Petition for Alien RelativeU.S. citizen filing for an unmarried son or daughter over 2127 september 2007
I-130Petition for Alien RelativePermanent resident filling for an unmarried son or daughter over 217 mei 2010
I-130Petition for Alien RelativeU.S. citizen filing for a married son or daughter over 211 juni 2010
Other SC Processing Dates are to find here http://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

After the approval of the I-130, petitions are being send it to the NVC where it will sit until the priority date is current

This table http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/Cut-off_Dates_worldwide_online.pdf shows priority dates  (the date that the petition is properly filed) world wide (Russia stands not apart mentined like China or Phillipines, so i guess it should be included in world wide).
First preference (F1): Unmarried, adult sons and daughters of U.S. citizens (adult means 21 or older.)
Second Preference (2B):  Unmarried adult sons and daughters of permanent residents
Third Preference (F3): Married sons and daughters (any age) of U.S. citizens
So now visas are available for those who filed petitions before 15 February 2006 (first preference), before 1 May 2002 (third preference).
All waiting time sums up. Looks like 9-11 years if i'm not mistaken.

Great photos, HT. I'll bet your wife loves seeing the reaction of her friends and family back home when she shows them photos like those.
