Just a question, I have adult kids, what your Russian or Ukrainian Lady treated your kids from your 1.0 family vs. your 2.0 family? I figure she will accept the kids as friends or your children.

Her reaction to your adult children is going to be unique to her just as if you were dating an American woman. Of course in part her reaction to your adult children is going to depend on a number of factors. Do you work with your children as in a family business? Do they live with you? How often do you see them? Do you have to travel far to visit them? Do they have children that you care for, babysit on a regular basis?

If your relationship reaches a point where marriage is a possibility and you have a significant net worth it's important to consider how your estate is going to be divided if you marry. How much will your children receive? How much will your wife receive? IOW a prenup is a wise consideration.

I've been around the block a few times and there really is no way of pre judging this.  I've dated 2 women who had no kids and they were opposite ends of the spectrum one couldn't understand why I needed to give my kids any time and was jealous one was one of the best child friend I've ever seen.  Dated a nurse with 2 kids who was trying to push my children out my life.  Several women just ignored my kids.  Even women who are just friends of mine have had different reactions to my kids.

Well, THAT was 'helpful' from a poster who's not really married ..Good morning, Sting123

I thought the Q had a relationship basis ..

My elder daughters stance was - for a long time -" I had a new family and didn't care about my 'old one' "..   :rolleyes:Certainly not what I intended and very much her Mum's poison....

She had moved in a guy within weeks of her realising I had moved out and tearing up divorce petitions wasn't going to avoid the inevitable ... I found my 'new family' 4 years later .....  yet meeting a new partner would cause our kids 'upset' ?  :cluebat:

It's works better when a parent thinks about the kids welfare - not revenge

It's often stated here FSU fathers are not apt to want a woman with children for marriage or treat the children as his own if he does marry.
Its a cultural generalization, that fsu people are not as accepting of other peoples children  as you are likely accustomed to seeing  in your own cukture,  and this applies to fsu culture, including women, it is not gender specific.

Again applying generalization to an individual  ,doesn't really work regardless.
Also adult children if out of the coop ,would likely be far far less of an issue
