You folks spotted the April Fool's Joke. None of the events in this story actually happened. 

Although an April fools joke, fools in April aren't and do exist. Events in the story probably did happen, not to you but men have been known to do foolish things on their visit  for the bush between a woman's legs setting them back tens of thousands of dollars.

There is a type of birth control pill I see advertised on TV where a woman only needs to have a period every three months. If you are taking the pill anyway, why not limit the number of periods?
 
There is a wide variation in the amount of blood between various women. If a woman uses a IUD, that could have a big effect.
 
I knew a woman years ago who failed to have a period several times per year. This can also happen if a woman is very skinny.
 
I think larry should have bought sveta a new car and paid for her driving lessions and licence.

I posted a story like this on city-data forum on relationships and they banned me for trolling.  Glad there is a sense of humor on this site.  And great story, but loosen up a little.  It isn't your girl's fault it was that time of the month.  I'd say another gift is in order.

Mendy, you will definitely get an invitation to the wedding, if there is one.  Lately I'm having some doubts as to whether there will be a wedding. I'm getting mixed signals from her. On the plus side she is clearly interested in improving her English so that she can speak to me without an interpreter. She asked me to wire her money for English lessons.  But on the minus side I am having real trouble reaching her on the phone.

Well, I'm not sure. I know it's difficult to learn a foreign language, even with $45/hour lessons.

I hope that you are sending her monthly support payments. Girls there have so many expenses and so little income. Try sending $742.38 each month, and if that isn't enough, then double it. By easing her financial concerns, she will have more time to think about you during the day....and during the night. 

As an additional reminder of your love and care, send 972 euros ever other month for shopping. Good threads make a woman go into that "shallow breathing thing" and you'll be richly rewarded for it when she isn't in "that time" of the month.

That's basically 120 a week and my family in the States are gonna start missing
