In light of recent information -

After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

Three rather well-known piano pieces:

Two of them as orchestrated by Debussy (numbers are inverted):

I didn't quite grew up on the music of the likes of Hall & Oates, John Waitz, Corey Hart, but a lot of their creation resonated all through my younger days. The Teeny-Bop specials you hear a lot on the radio. Songs like She's Gone, Out of Touch, Maneater, Method Of Love, Missing you, Everytime You Go Away, Never Surrender, Sunglasses At Night...

These days, I enjoy watching Daryl's show on cable called 'Live at Daryl's House', where he host a great array of popular stars like Fitz & The Tantrums, KT Tunstall, John Roeneck, Robbie Thomas, Patrick Monahan, and even oldies great Smokey Robinson, Todd Rundgren and Jose Feliciano...

It's basically a jam fest and one of which I enjoy watching immensely...

On this one show, Daryl got together with Train's Patrick Monahan with this one number, which I believe was done about as well, if not better than the original motown classic...

Great cover! The song...

Enjoy!

Never heard of the fellow before ::), but here are some 'originals' of what he sang:

Luna rossa (1950)

Arrivederci (1959, sung by its author)

Romantica (1960)

...and, also from 1960,... :D:

BOO! It's Halloween! And what better way to 'celebrate' the ghouls' hollows than to cite some tunes I like that start with the word 'Strange'...

Depeche Mode:

Pete Yorn:

Jeff Lynne's ELO:

"Trick or Treat" and have a Happy Halloween, folks!  :D

Wanted to add: Me, wifey and a few friends all got together for some ghoulish experience Saturday night and went to see "Paranomal Activity 3". LOL! Waste of money. It isn't as 'good' as the first. Reminds me a little of a scene from Sixth Sense..

That would be stretching a wee bit, but I'll give you the intro.

However, I prefer this one from the same group.

Fascicle?  Is that a technical word for what the music industry refers to as a "cover."

Any other examples?
