Preparing to meet a woman overseas
« on: February 28, 2015, 12:40:56 AM »
I met a woman online and we been talking for about 6 months and we admitted we have interest in each other. This woman is located in Belarus. I'm basically new to this and never been abroad to meet someone before and I'm not sure what I should do. How long would you guys recommend I should stay to spend some time with her? After 6 months of being in contact with her should I be planning a trip now to go see her or wait a little more longer?

6 months is plenty of time. If you haven't already, talk to her on Skype if she has it. 2-3 weeks for your first trip would be a good amount of time. Make sure she can take most of that time off from work so you can use your time wisely. Or base your trip time on how much time she can get off of work. After you return from your trip, talk some more for about 3 months. Then, if things are going well, plan a second trip and after that trip, it's usually time for both of you to make a decision on a visa commitment.

New and don't know what to do? You've signed up on this forum over 3 years ago. There's enough advice and tips given within that span to prepare you for this moment.

Now isn't the time to get nervous. If you're both interested in each other and enjoyed your communication, tell her you are coming soon. 6 months is too long and you're lucky she didn't stop communicating with you. Women get the impression men aren't serious when they write for months and can't make a decision or are playing games so don't delay.

An ideal time for me to see one woman to figure her out is two weeks. I don't know what your schedule is like but try to do at least a week. Before you go, do lots of reading here to get advice on travel, accommodations, back up plans, how to interact with FSU women and if you can't find what you need, just start a thread and ask questions.
Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.

Have you spoken on the phone ans vid chatted /skyped?

Proper length of trip, in hindsight,  really depends on if you hit it off in person or not...if you don't, 2 days is two long, if you really do, a month isn't long enough.

Since its impossible to predict in human relationships that elusive chemistry....
most folks plan a trip initially for a week or 2 (seem's 2 is most common) and they have contingency plans (be that tourism, meeting other women, or a side trip elsewhere in the general area, like Prague, etc) in  case you both realize in the first 15 minutes that you arn't a romantic connection.

Good Luck!
