If I remember, the asking price was 530K.  It could be that the mortgage is a problem. No way to tell.  I don't think O knew much about mortgages, insurance premimums, taxes, credit cards, etc.  She just thought if you earn X dollars, you have X to spend.

Their apartment in Russia was given by O's exhusbands parents.  O was married to him for only about two years, but his parents stayed close to O and their only grandchild.

I did not go to NYC. I did not take the photographs. As I said, there is an advertisement on the internet because the condo where O is living is for sale. I believe the man who listed the condo is O’s Boyfriend. Remember, when O split she told me she was going to move in with her Boyfriend.
I believe that O had a relationship with this man long before she ever left Russia. I believe that O planned to end up with this guy from the beginning. The man has a very, very Russian name. He listed his name on the advertisement. I think that he was involved with O’s plan from the start. Perhaps he is not yet an American Citizen? Perhaps he needed me to be the Mule?
So why is the condo for sale? O is never satisfied! They probably are looking for a nicer place. O admitted, during the divorce proceedings, that she has a good paying job. So now they can afford a nicer condo.
When I went to Russia and first met O, we were in the sack together within two hours. O was not bashful! She got in trouble with the hotel manager because the maids heard us in the middle of the afternoon. When O came to America, we had sex from the first day. We did it in the afternoon when Daughter was at school. Then, we got married, and I got cut off!
This is what I think!  O’s boyfriend was jealous! He told her to stop sleeping with me!
The day after our wedding, O insisted that we go shopping for a car for her. A couple weeks later, she had the car. Then, she would be gone for several days at a time, up until a week or longer. I gave her credit cards to buy gas. She was spending $500 or more per month on gas! She got speeding tickets that I paid. One on them was from Ohio.  She made many trips and left her Daughter with me. School was out for the Summer, but she still left Daughter with me. Then in August, the two of them were gone for about two weeks. They came back with many shopping bags full of new clothes. O was not working at that time. It is obvious to me that O was in NYC with her boyfriend.
In October, O took daughter out of school and was gone for 10 days. The exchange student from Ukraine who was living with us at the time told me they went to West Palm Beach. After O split, I was cleaning up their mess and found many shopping bags with receipts inside from fancy stores. The boarding passes for the airplane tickets were there. The boyfriend must have paid for all this!
So in a way I am lucky! I got stuck for all the credit card debts that O ran up, but it could have been worse. So what is the big deal about me knowing O’s address? Remember, I needed to serve her the divorce papers! The divorce was final only two months ago.
Someone already discovered the building

So your "wife" who cut you off immediately after marriage ,gets a car and often leaves for unexplained days at a time and comes home with speeding tickets from other states..

how long did this go on??
why din't  you resolve this with her or file immediately?
(long before she "split")

honestly ,after a year, i just don't see why you care where she is now..who shes seeing ,or where she's living ,
are you seeing or dating anyone??

granted you were used..and i understand feeling hurt and resentment..
but things could have gone much worse for you if she wanted to be nastier.
and you certainly seemed to have had a few bkinders on..

What are the differences between this, and your first failed K1?
what went wrong with that one?

I wouldn't think much of some random mans first name.. it's like thinking a Bill or John in NYC,
is the same Bill or John you know from Michigan. :rolleyes2:
And while she may have a had  a *plan* to meet this guy  from the beginning ,it strikes me odd you would think that without some other indications.
you've been divorced a year ,she moved to NYC ( not uncommon , and  a large russian community)
If she was an AW ,you wouldn't think twice if she was dating a AM by now?
and it isn't surprising O ,since relocating to NYC..would be dating a RM,, ,and one that could supply a nice place to live.
I sure when she left you, she wasn't intending on staying in a small rural town in michigan,,
and moving to NYC with known friends wouldn't be a surprise either.

For your own sake
Get  a new attitude..

Forget her ,be damn GLAD she is gone,,
and look into something new..

if you do think about the past with her at all,try and learn from your own mistakes in it,,
don't dwell on them ,just note what to do differently.
y nothing constructive will come from worrying about what she is doing in life.
So get on with enjoying your own life...

Man! I don't think so. Learning details about her life such as the age of her building? Have you been studying the blueprints? Keeping her under surveillance?

Bump because it's a current subject. Not a good idea to do cyber searches (cyberstalking as some spin it) during these times. If the the mood strikes wait like 7 years before you google her name. It's not a good idea to know how she is prospering or who she is living with while you are still stinging from the divorce. When mine left for out East I had no desire to know any details of how she was doing.

Wife split!
« Reply #1628 on: September 14, 2024, 01:19:32 PM »
She came on a K-1 in March 2008.  Married in late April.  Sent in green card application soon after.  Went to USCIS for interview.  Passed except that wife has latent tuberculosis.  She went to local health department for treatment.  Sent back letter to USCIS saying treatment was started.  Green cards should arrive soon.

A little over a week ago, she got angry again, started an arguement.  Actually, it was all her anger.  Next day, came home from work, found wife and step-daughter gone, everything packed up and gone.  I called school Monday morning.  Step-daughter was in school.  Wife has old girl friends in many different states who came on K-1's.  Thought she may have gone to stay with one of them, but not.

Wife took new car that is in my name; computer, cable modem, etc.  Bought a new modem and hooked up old computer.  Many debts ran up because wife likes to buy things and has expensive tastes.

Two days ago, wife shows up at house.  Angry!  Demands her mail, but she did not receive any.  Looking for green cards to arrive, probably.  Wife admits she has a boyfriend and moved in with him.  I wondered how she was getting all the expensive new clothes.  Tells me her immigration lawyer says she has to live with me for the green card issue.  Says she is moving back in.

Everyone advises me to change the door locks to keep her out.  Don't think that is legal to do unless you get a court order.  Remember, I am responsible for them.  I have to provide.

Before the visa interview in Moscow, the medical exam and tests are done and the results are picked up later that day or the next morning.  The TB skin test is usually checked after three days.  I think she new there was a problem and did not tell me about it before our wedding.

No sex since the wedding night.  Wife? moved into seperate bedroom.  Believe this was planned all along. She doesn't clean, cook or do laundry for me.  House was never so dirty before.  Lets her dog mess all over the house and does not clean it up.

Any ideas?  Help!

There was a lot of good advice on this thread.

He is lucky she didn't file DV charges. Unfortunately it was very common when a man did not want to file papers or remove conditional status.

He is lucky in respect to DV charges.

I can't imagine why a man would not file papers or hold up status.

Some men were not sure they want to stay married and didn't want to sign the affidavit of support.
Some men simply wanted to divorce before reaching two years. Some men wanted their FSUW to go back
(like Doll participating in this topic)

Doll was married for a significant period, over a decade. I don’t think her husband really cared where she lived. She did go back to Russia as her married son was there. Her other son grew up in America and joined the military.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

From what I remember form RW forum back then (and she actually writes about this in this topic) he told her not to come back when she and her son were in Russia. She did have documents to come back and she was considering going DV route but then she convinced him to stay married.

It was a pretty big story because some RW I don't know actually spilled the beans to her husband about Doll's plan and that woman was considered a traitor on the RW forum. I think the woman's name was Lyuda, it was such a long time ago! 2002 I think.

she was very active for years on another Russian forum privet.com with the same nick. I avoid that forum but I heard she was very anti Ukraine and a true Russian patriot. I am not sure how she is handling her younger son being in US military
since US is now considered the enemy #1 in Russia. But good for her younger son I remember he always wanted to go to military.

Yes, she stopped posting here when a resident Ukrainian (who is ethnically Russian) added a tagline to his signature, calling Putin huilo. She claimed it’s a terrible swear word. But I know it’s not.
