The information war seems to be getting more and more heated.

We have 2-3 or more of the Russian trolls right here on this forum.

Are you aware how McCarthy that sounds?

I guess from your viewpoint as regards to Russia, your First amendement of freedom of speech is annoying?

There is a difference between viewing pro Russian posters as Russian trolls and restricting what they have to say.  The latter has not occurred here.

I don't think any of the pro Russian posters here are trolls.  Inadequately informed on issues, but not trolls.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

The GOP was expert at this in the past.  I knew someone who was paid to post at various big American forums, such as The Atlantic, the CNN boards, Salon in its heydey, etc.  He was paid for each post.

The politics forums at those sites were absolutely vicious, and Democrat supporters would always point to the GOP troll army, because they all had the same talking points.

Oh, what a bummer  :(
Maybe you'd like to rethink that, if you know where Trolls actually reside........

Rethink the fact some are inadequately informed?  No, I don't think that is required.

I don't think anyone here is a troll.  Do I agree with everything others post?  No.  But I don't think they are trolls merely because I disagree with them.

Yup.  Apparently our system here in the states bases elections on distortions, omissions,  lies, and to pretty much say whatever has to be said to get elected.  Very little truth out there.

The voting citizens themselves are to blame for this.

Politicians on all sides of the spectrum are only doing the logical thing . . . which is to say what stupid people want to hear.

There is always a push to get more people to vote.

I believe fewer people should vote.

I got it....Trolls.... Land of the Norsemen.

Natural, are you old enough to remember Norway's attempt to manufacture  an automobile, oddly named Troll?  You can win trivia games with that knowledge.

You and Jone got it, finally some brains around here, haha.

It was before my time, but I'm aware they tried to make a car named Troll. Too bad it didn't work out. The Swedes did much better there. I heard that Sweden was offered a cut on our oil fields if we got a part of the Volvo corporation. That was too bad for the Swedes it didn't come through. They sure could use the revenue to feed the masses of migrants they so foolishly let in.
