Ochka doesn't wear her rings to the University, so that the young men will flirt with her.

But she knows that I carry a gun when we are out together, so she wears her rings then.
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

My ring cost $30 and my wife's was I think $300 (I did it the cool way and married in her country with her friends and family).  11 years later I'm still wearing the $30 ring and I bought my wife a new ring. I gave her a 5k budget and she only spent 3k for a 10 year anniversary.

Don't get hung up on simple things. There are some things you need to decide for yourself instead of coming to a board. In a marriage, you will encounter such bigger decisions than buying a ring. This rule applies to marrying a woman from anywhere.

Of course, asking simple questions one would think everyone understands your position. Ah, that's not true. I asked a question and got a 3 letter code named after me (OWW. Yep, I'm the dude). But, I proved being a OWW is successful.

Just do what you think is right and that's the final decision.

Mark, welcome back to RWD but, c'mon brah, it's time to give that animosity up. He's long gone and you're long married. You know, whether or not you'll admit is another question that "most" OWWs do not cut the muster. You were an exception. In fact you'd be hard pressed to find 3 that survived even 5 years. Quick engagements have about the same shelf life of 20+ year age differences. Proof is in the pudding
