A Ukrainian soldier in Mariupol was pleading for the promised SAM's help from the west yesterday.


He was directly asking Biden and Macron where the promised SAM's are.


A Ukrainian  MP in Kiev today was asking the same question...he said the promised military equipment had not arrived.

Options for getting military equipment aid to Ukraine...as well as humanitarian ...must be getting increasingly difficult.

The export model of S-300 has a range of 150km.  At the same time, RU is using stand-off weapons, staying near their borders, their planes firing missiles deep into UA. This is due to short-range anti-aircraft made available to UA. Countries willing to give their S-300s also want their stocks backfilled.

I don't know how much support there is for providing weapons that can be used to shoot down planes in RU airspace.

expect in return a free F16 fighting Falcon ($20-30 million depending on
options).

The USA just approved over $30 billion for Ukraine. The UK is spending
1% of that amount. The Netherlands might be willing to kick in $10 million
USD₁. Czech Republic $8.5 million USD worth of aid.

Where are you coming up with that?  Everything I have read says that Poland offered to give their Migs to Ukraine if the US would let them BUY F-16's to replace them.

I haven't seen anyone other than you suggest that Poland wanted F-16's for free.

I did a little research and sure enough, I was wrong. Poland did agree to
pay for them.

We keep ramping up the sanctions on Russia also and are now planning to hit their gold reserves.

Yesterday Britain delivered over 100,000 medical supplies to Ukraine, vital medicine that is needed to treat medical problems. So the UK I firmly believe is delivering on what it says. Some nations are all talk and no action though.
