Overquoting articles
« on: January 29, 2015, 01:54:29 AM »
We are happy that a number of posters read a number of sites regarding news about the FSU and wish to share those articles they find interesting. However the sharing by copying and pasting the article text with a link and without any own contribution can cause copyright issues. Therefore, as of today the following rules will apply:

1. If you wish to bring an article to the attention of RWD's readers, you can quote a maximum of 250 characters from that article.

2. The link provided should not disturb the reading pane (if the RWD reading pane is adjusted, your post will be deleted).

3. A quoted article should be given a thought or comment of a minimum of 5 lines of 75 characters.

These rules do not apply if you are the writer or publisher of the original article, or if you have provided us with a written letter of consent from the source of the article.
