Newbie scorned or not you make the call

I have spent 300 bucks on russianbrides.com, seems legit.  But it gets expensive and I think they are over billing me on minutes.  Most girls will only chat via the website costing you money, get rude if you ask any other way if they are live. Probably some good ones on there, but when you chat and try to send info it only appears as dots to them.  Like an email or googla hangout or kik or facebook.  The algorithm seems to catch it all.  You can put spaces, likes spell out every 3rd letter or whatever you want in any form of code and it catches it and appears as dots or symblos unless they are lying to me.  Has anyone here dealed with this site, or should I just mark it up as a learning lesson and be done?

You're being played for a fool! You need to wise up. If your paying then your little more than a cash cow for these folk. Do yourself a favour and get on some of the free FSU dating websites, they are listed on here as a sticky for new starters.

Listen to the more experienced guys (which I'm not one) and the pinned advice on here. The moment I deviated from this it started costing me money on things like failed tourist visa attempts.

If you use sites like fdating.com, it shouldn't cost you one cent until you're purchasing your flights to visit the women you've been talking to. Fdating is probably the best dating site I've been on, locally or foreign.

If you want to use a pay per month site (like our local dating sites), a recommendation is dmnotify.  I just spent 1 month on this site snd talked to approximately 20 women and only found one suspect girl. I narrowed it down to 5 girls and had all of their personal emails, skype and whatsapp details in less than a week and have now let the membership lapse. I might pay for another month as one girl I really wanted to talk (but hadn't been active for a while) has recently check out my profile several times  ......  If you sign up, check out the forum, it has lots of comments from women, it's an  interesting read.

I use the below dating site. They will remove scammers. You pay a monthly fee or cheaper if you pay for longer times. I met several of the women on this site over the years. These women are not from agencies.

I noticed the same... Some of my favourites were being reviewed.

You still have to be careful. One woman sent me a message with too many compliments, in our first few exchanges. When I pushed to video chat, she stopped messaging .

Here's some  of what she wrote...

You have just paid $300 in tuition to the school of hard knocks.
The money they charge per minute is too high and too tempting for the
Russian agency side of the business. You see they are tempted to pay their
translators to engage in letter exchanges, chats and such.

It's possible that you've been conversing with genuine good girls, but it's
more likely that you've been talking with agency translators or girls who
get a commission for each kopeck you spend with them.

Now you are here and have all the resources at your finger tips to learn how
to find, pursue and marry an excellent girl. $300 is cheap tuition. You could
have flown all the way to Dumpsk to meet a hot girl who suddenly leaves to
care for her sick Grandmother while the agency put's you in an overpriced
apartment or hotel and sets you up with other disinterested girls
at $50 bucks (or more) a pop and various translating and guide services. 

I recommend that you start reading and researching here at the forum and
soon you will be having questions. Come back here and ask them or use
the forums search function.

Lastly, you will get a lot of advice, some will be quite good and some will be far
more dubious. Above all don't get angry, nobody knows you or your situation further
than what you post here. Your job is to sift through the advice and use what work best
for you, your personality and situation and ignore the rest.

Sounds like classic scam stuff to me.  $300 is actually on the low side for tuition 

I'll second what bill said - read the pinned stuff and as much of the other stuff as you can stand to get some vague idea what this whole process is like.
Finding a decent website is at most just one small piece.

I checked their "About" page. They are Dating Agencies LLC. They are AnastasiaDate.com which is the biggest scam agency out there. They aren't legit. Accept your losses and move onto a site recommended in the link below.
