You can get an invitation online but the visa is another matter. It will have to be done at the Embassy

I have sole custody of my daughter...
She lives with me,, she sleeps at my house 7 days a week...
She is 6 years old... and she talks to vika on skype..
They are both excited to meet...

Vika has pictures of her all over her apartment...

to add a little bit of honesty...

I am not sure she can have children because of her diabetes...
She has told me, This is one of the reason she was looking for a man who already had children...

But, I hope with proper medical care. we should be able to have at least one child...

Darth, this is such a sweet and loving story. I almost got tears in my eyes when I read it. I had a huge smile on my face and just thought to myself about how kind and loving of a woman Vika must be. I don't care if Vika is 200 lbs, 250 lbs or 300 lbs, it sounds like she is such a good human being that she is exactly the type of woman I hope to meet in Minsk regardless of her appearance (but it would be extra cool if she is also extremely skinny). Sounds like Vika is the type of woman every WM dreams of meeting in the FSU.

As much as a WM without a child can fall in love with a FSU woman's child, I can see it being just as easy for a FSU woman without a child to fall in love quite easily with a WM's 6 year-old Daughter. I am sure Vika, like every FSU woman, has that natural mothering instinct embedded in her DNA, and now that you and your little girl have come along and ya'll wish to be a lifelong couple, I bet if you give Vika the opportunity to legally adopt your Daughter as her own Daughter (dunno if this is possible for you Garth - is your Daughter's biological Mother still in her life?) that will be a huge lift to Vika's self-esteem and self-worth as a Woman. I think almost every woman dreams of becoming a Mom, and if it turns out that her Type II (NIDDM) (I assume it is type II as that is far more common and curable than type I) prevents her from ever having her own Child, I see no reason that if she adopts your Daughter Darth, that she should not feel every bit as proud and protective of your little girl as she would be if she were her actual biological little girl. Your Daughter doesn't even care if Vika did not carry her in her uterus for 36 weeks, the little girl simply wants a loving Mother.    Adoption is one of the greatest acts of kindness someone can ever offer of themselves. I admire and respect families that adopt children tremendously. Those are some very cool Husbands and Wives that adopt little kids!!  :) If I marry a woman who does not have any kids, I have thought many times of having one child of our own, and then traveling to Ukraine to one of the many orphonages in that country, and adopting a child from there. I have discussed this plan with several girls from the FSU, and every one was extremely receptive to this and every girl thought it would be a great idea.

Anyways, it sounds like you have all your ducks lined up in a row and your plan will be a big success. I am very happy for you and your new family Garth and I wish you the best.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos.

You had good weather!  When there in July about 50 years ago, I wanted a ski jacket.  Another example of climate change.   My ex-wife went to Plattsburg State Teachers College before she became an attorney.  I thought Ithaca too cold, and this area was even colder.
