Hey guys, if any of you are going to Ukraine or Russia this spring, say from May 10th to June 24th, holler at me and we'll see if we can meet up. I'll be meeting up with several other guys and I will buy the first,...and second dr.......oh what the heck, the first three round of drinks!!!

. We can exchange cell phone numbers by e-mail. At this time I expect to be in Nikolaev sometime between the 26th thru 29th of May. If you might be leaving before this date we can meet elsewhere, I expect to arrive around the 10th.

I am probably leaving in early April, and expecting a long stay with no definite return date. Right now I am deciding between Odessa, Kiev and St. Petersburg, but I do expect to travel from wherever I make my home base. my email is tjberk@hotmail.com I hope we can hook up.

This is my first post.

I'm returning to Ukraine February 21 for only 5 days.

Wish it could be longer but my lady can only afford to take a few days from her job.

Seeing Kiev in spring would be great.

I was in Russia the second week of January and I have to say it was much better than I expected. Most of the days were just below freezing and there was about 5 inches of snow on the ground. I was in N. Novgorod which is 200 miles or so from Moscow. I am heading back in 6 weeks and hope it will be warmer.

Yea, I thought I might get by with a spring coat but looking at the weather forcast it is colder there now than when I was there in January. I think the windchill is 6F Burrrr. Not sure on the interenet cafe. I hate being out of touch and will do what I can. Looking forward to my trip, that is for sure.

My first post.

I'll meet Tatyana in Odessa on April 2nd. Then we'll go her town Kherson. We'll leave Kherson soon and go to some other place(s), but I don't know when and where. It'll be a surprise for me (I asked her not to tell me).

My plane leaves from Odessa on April 10th.

3- to photograph a foreign land

Hey there. I am SO looking forward to being the happy tourist in Kiev.
I'm planning on filling my camera's flash cards with 300+ images.
You'll see some of them here. I'll probably make ALL of them available on a CD, just for the price of postage. And of course I'll take dozens of shots of Larisa, if there's good chemistry. (No, I'm sorry - no porn, just 'art' photos) I'll photograph everything and anything. I'll write a long colorful trip report when I return. It's 60 F in Kiev! Doug

I will be in Zaporozhye June 7 to June 17 and then Dnepropetrovsk June 17 to July 27. After that I will still have 20 more days in Ukraine and if I do not meet someone in Zaporozhye or Dnepropetrovsk I will go to Crimea. I will gladly meet any of you guys over there.Scott
