As time goes on I come to the board less and less. I usually make an anniversary announcement......with each passing year. This year I "skittered" past our anniversary......August 8 (the announcement on the board......."not" by actually forgetting our anniversary!!!!!! ). Each year I take a look at the "10 commandments"............they still make perfect sense for those starting out. If I were to add an 11th commandment ....it would be....."Thou shalt Skype" as your main source of contact. Skype did not exist when I started this back in 1998.


The wife and I are still solid. We do a lot of activities together....with many common interests; any water sport....travel....art.....anything new. Our mortgage will be paid-off in a few months and we are considering relocating (at least part of the year) to florida (possibly greater Fort Myers area).


Its nice to see some of the geezers still hanging around here. A divorce or two......but many solid relationships still thriving.

Splendid to hear from you again Capt B.

No problem in skittering past us as long as you did not forget Vika.      You sound so happy that I doubt you would ever forget your anniversary. 

Ft. Myers is a good area.  We have spent some weekends in Captiva - delightful.  On your way down in a car, give us a call.
