Interesting article (see title below) in yesterday's Wall Street Journal regarding how ATT is slashing life insurances for retired employees.  In one case the benefit will be slashed by almost $50,000.  Just shows how Americans are less affluent than we used to be.  Seems like Svetlana will be cashing out much less than in the past.

The company, which is sparing its executives from the cut, says it brings benefits in line with what other firms offer
