Guys' grooming for FSUW - to shave armpits or not?
« on: July 07, 2015, 09:25:13 AM »
Some time ago in the chatroom we were discussing guy's grooming before traveling to meet a FSUW, specifically whether he should shave his armpits.  The girl a guy was visiting had expressed a preference for hairless armpits.

The topic has arisen again so I thought I would make it into a thread. Younger FSUW I've talked to have been in favor of guys' shaving their armpits.

Another tip a FSUW gave was that girls like it when the guy's fingernails are clean and well trimmed.  But that should be pretty obvious to guys.

To shave the pits or not? What are your thoughts?

Edit to update: the FSUW with whom I was discussing this asked me why I didn't tell my opinion.  Here it is - I remove armpit hair.  I think it looks and feels better that way.

They (FSUW) shave for us. Why shouldn't we for them?

First my thoughts on Anal Bleaching:
I'm for it, because some assholes need to lighten up.   ;D

Warning too much information  :tmi: for some will be posted below.
I posted the jokes first so that you can leave this thread hopefully with
a smile. If the thought of manscaping makes you queezy or light headed
then maybe give this whole thread a wide berth and for sure skip my
post.

Ok, if you are still reading then you have been warned and if I explain
anything from plucking, pruning, angle of the dangle for best waxing
practices or a multitude of grooming tips then don't come back here and
later cry that you weren't told in advance. You've been warned

Before marriage I would either visit many or visit one. On a visit one trip
I knew her preferences and generally matched those. On a visit many trip
I would shave everything bald eagle and ask questions later. Under arms
and the bikini area.

I would always check my ears and nose for offending errant hair as well.
Usually I would get a manicure/pedicure before the trip. Note no nail
treatments while in North Dakota because there weren't any. I would just
cut my nails and file them into a nice shapely appearance.

Now that I'm married, I am groomed to Angel Eyes preferences. What are
her preferences? top secret!!!  (babies bottom)

I am not about to shave anything except my face.

No woman has ever commented to me one way or the other about this.

Ochka has no hair on arms, only a few light ones on legs (which she has never shaved which I really am glad for because never any rough stubble there) and very little under arms so infrequent shaving there.
A beautiful woman is pleasant to look at, but it is easier to live with a pleasant acting one.

wife called me "Hombre Lobo" in Colombia...wolfman....  Ladies in Colombia, like people here are describing in Ukraine, seem to be more interested in a man who shaves himself... I have absolutely no interest in changing my appearance like that...I would find it astounding that so many other men will take that step, but then again we are generally talking about older men going for women in their 20s-early 30's, so I guess men do what they can.  Not only do I not shave myself, but I frequent pools often with winter coat in full view....if certain ladies don't like it, they can leave...just creates more space for me and my kids...   :)

I've come to recognize my wife is better with fashion and decorating the house more than I so maybe she's got a good opinion on how to make me look better. I shaved my mustache at her request and my female relatives and friends all said I look better. I shaved my armpits for her and as long as she considers me sexy, I reap benefits. I've always shaved downstairs before meeting my wife. Hope none of you guys are still stuck in 1977. Many of the ladies I've dated in modern times appreciated my grooming habits downstairs.

Good to know!  My place doesn't have a basement... if I had to shave downstairs I would end up in someone else's condo unit; it would be awkward.

What?  Of course (I assume) most of the men have NOT been shaving their nutsack....'grooming'? is that what it is called?  No thanks, ditto for armpits.  Personally, I'd be embarrassed to show a woman if I did...but that is just me...and I may be in the minority here again.

Such a funny thread and pertinent to living with many FSUW.

SC doesn't like to see hairy male armpits and I feel no loss of 'maleness' through indulging her..

Has there ever been a guy who asked his wife to cut her hair shorter?

But I know what you mean about kick starting her defenses.

I did exactly that (not the boobjob part) and AE agreed to grow her hair
longer. It's now at least 10" (25cm) longer than it was when I met her.

True story.

Out of the blue I decided to shave my mustache. This was years ago. It was the first and only time I shaved it. Well, my pretty lady looked at me and was shocked, I tell you shocked.

Then she said: I will not kiss you until you grow it back. That was a very long week.  ;D

I was man scaped, down stairs before I met my wife.
A girl I met, before my wife, asked me if I had ever shaved under arms.
I said no, but thought what the hell I will try, ( open minded)
I also said if I didn't like, I wouldn't do again.
I liked it, sweat less, feels cleaner, so I continued.
Wife met me, its how I was groomed, she has never asked me to change anything.
She would like me 15 lbs heavier, which I am trying to fight.
But her cooking is winning :)

For those who comment, they are more of man with hair, or someone with out is less of man, shake your head, it is the 21st century LOL.
Each should do as they wish. Women can make suggestions, as you can with them.
But each should do as they wish and accept it in kind.
